Maybe they will get this prediction right. Are they predicting their own demise.? Wouldnt that be ironic? Everything they preach is against what Jesus taught.

by sir82 inhere's a little more detail on the "kingdom news" campaign i posted about yesterday:.
the campaign runs fruns from october 16 - november 12. it will be announced to the congregations in a service meeting part during the week of september 18. every publisher and pioneer gets 50 copies.
this is something i don't recall happening before: publishers are supposed to keep track of how many tracts they place, and record it on the back of their time slips for october and november.

Society goes nuts--yet another "special" campaign for September!
by sir82 inin an earlier post here http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/114651/1.ashx i noted the society's "special campaign" for september, an "awake" magazine dedicated to the topic of evolution vs. creation.
there is a "special campaign" to highlight that magazine all month.. got a call from our po last night.
there is going to be yet another "special campaign" in september -- a new "kingdom news" tract.

All big business have ad campaigns. I am wondering why they dont advertise on TV. It is expensive so maybe they dont want to part with the money. Most companies dont have people willing to go door to door to sell their wares for free. They have to offer good wages and benefits and retirement package. I feel sorry for those having to leave.I have Social security and pension and its still not easy with inflation and medical so high now. I just dont know how these people are going to make out.

Does anyone else have high Cholesterol?
by nicolaou inturns out i've inherited this genetic condition whereby my body doesn't regulate cholesterol properly.
even though i eat quite sensibly and exercise my cholesterol is at 7. i'm not overweight, i don't smoke and i only drink with friends.. now the doctor tells me i have 6 months to bring my cholestorol under control or i'll be on pills (statins?).
no red meat!

my doc told me to take fish oil so I take salmon 1000 mg it took a few months but now I have good cholestrol. I only use olive oil to cook with. Hope this helps

If you read Matt 28:9 Luke chapter 24 and John chapter 20 you will see Jesus was flesh and bone he could eat and drink and Thomas could put his hand in Jesus wounds. When Jesus returns people will see where he has been pierced Matt 24 the tribes of the earth will mourn him when they see his wounds. Jesus never was an angel. In the NWT read hebrews chapter 1 v 5,6 13,14 chapter 2 v 5

I moved from the east coast to the west coast in 1956. I had been close to my grandmother back east and missed her very much. One night I had this dream that grandma visited me . She seemed very weak. So the next day I called back east and yes Grandma was in the hospital. My grandma died and I couldnt go to funeral because of health problems I had. This was in 1960 Now I was married to a very cheap man and I could only order the cheapest flowers(just one of the reasons I am divorced) anyway I didnt even ask God I said I wished I could send Grandma special flowers . Later my family told me they buried my grandmother with the blanket of red roses I had sent

by vitty inhow do you feel, now, knowing that the ridiculers, objectionist or non-jw family and workmates were right.. i feel a tad embarrist, i spent a long time, 20 years, trying convince, or prove ppl that i had the "truth" .
my only consolation was that i would be proved right and that they would end up looking foolish.

In Zechariah chapter 14 tells that Jesus will return where the mount of olives is. All the nations of the world will be gathered there to come against Jerusalem. Armageddon War. Matthew 24:30 Jesus returns and all the tribes of the earth mourn they will see Jesus coming with power and great glory.God is not finished with the jews as the WT says Gods time table is with Israel. i am just dumbfounded that the average american family dog is fed more animal protein per week than the average indian gets in a month.. how can we justify taking fish from protein starved peruvians and feeding them to our dogs?.
is it fair to say that the birth of an american baby is a greater disaster for the world than that of 25 indian babies .

In India Cows are sacred so they dont eat them. They believe in reincarnation so they wont eat animals because it might be a relative. I watched a TV show about it. I saw this elderly man eating on the ground and all these rats eating food off his plate. Plus many countries will not practice any birth control and they are over populated and cannot feed all their people. I agree we do have so much in this country and there are hungry children in this country which is not right.There are some hungry children because the parents are on drugs and dont take care of them. Most of the time they lose their children for that. I have seen in newspaper.I would report a family if I knew the children werent getting cared for. Anyway I try to do as much as I can but I am not rich. I think people who have money should not be buying diamond collars for dogs and fancy clothes but its their business they earned the money and maybe they do give a lot to charity so i will not judge them.Plus most 3rd world countries have corrupt gov and dont care about their people that is big problem. Americans are a generous people and try to help the world. God bless

Happy Birthday Since I will be 76 soon you are a baby to me LOL. I will offer advice tho if there is anything you want to do dont put it off til retirement. So many people put trips and things off til retirement and by the time they retired they were not able to go places .I am so glad I took trips on my vacations because by the time I retired I had health problems. So enjoy the rest of your life. God bless

I have always thought the schools should teach sign language to children in school> I think it would be good for schools in every country. My grandson met a little deaf boy and they became friends buy it was hard because my grandson did not know sign language. My grandson was learning but then the boy moved away. Most elderly get hard of hearing so families could communicate with them. We have an elderly neighbor even with hearing aids she cannot hear well. We get a lot of people from other countries in Ca. I have had people at disneyland from other countries try to talk to me and it is too hard but if everyone knew sign language we could communicate. So I think sign language should be the universal language of the world.
