41Is Satan actually the good guy, and Jehovah the evil usurper?
by 10p ina few years ago i read genesis again, and with a more objective mind, got the sense that satan was actually telling the truth, and that god was just trying to have humans be his slaves.
and god's reign over humans hasn't been all that pretty, in fact, its been downright awful.. 'course, i'm atheist now, so i wouldn't believe it even that way around - not literally anyway.
but i wondered if the writer/editors of genesis may have actually had this thought.. anyone know of any sources that explore this idea in depth?.

I hate the Watchtower but I really still hate the Trinity Jesus is NOT God!
by Witness 007 insome bibles use the term "worship" when refering to jesus...at times people did fall down and bow to him........this doesn't show he was god!
the greek term; proskeyneo, means to prostrate oneself, to bow down and show honour.
now, this was done for jehovah.....and his representatives....jesus israelite kings and priests....but for the honour of jehovah not as creature worship which even angels would refuse.. also i studied the non-biblical early church gospels which really does show a slow decline over 150 years, into the trinity as the watchtower claims...........although i still hate the watchtower society at least i learnt something that wasn't a lie..

People who would never have been born...if the WTBTS was right!
by gaiagirl ini watched several movies this week, and afterwards, i was thinking about how many performers in those movies would never have been born if armageddon had come in the fall of 1975 as advertised.
stardust featured clare danes and charlie cox, both born long since 1975. resident evil: extinction featured milla jovovitch, whose birthday is actually in december 1975, but it is likely that her parents would have already been dead by then, as they aren't witnesses.
anyone else have favorite people (actors or not) who would not have been born if 1975 had lived up to the big buildup?

I remember a lady who drove to the hall with her car loaded with wrapped christmas presents all over the back seat. She was on her way to visit her family for Christmas and she never got into trouble over it. Very puzzling I thought at the time.

God wouldn't do that.Jesus said I am the way, truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except thru me. Repent of your sins and accept Christ as your savior. Pray for understanding . When you read the Bible you need to know the customs of that time who is speaking and who is being spoken to. Some are speaking to the jews and not gentiles. The true religion is following Jesus Christ.Its good to start with book of john first.

Proof of God's existence
by Blackboo infrom a logical point....i notice that in these threads that there are few here who dont believe in god..but i hate to tell you your dead wrong for having such an ignorant belief like that..instead ya,ll are blaming religion, people, and your personal problems for your lack of faith in god..thats dead wrong.
the non-believers are not looking at the whole picture..just the present..the things that go on in the world happen for a reason and it doesnt mean god doesnt exist.
the bible says "the fool has said in his heart god doesnt exist".

Yesterday I watched a movie called The Privleged Planet. This documrntary explores the evidence for intelligent design in the universe. The documentary uses astonishing images of earth and its universe. Its worth watching and maybe afterwards you might decide there is a God
