  Its 8 am and I am laughing so hard. Feels good to laugh and starting my day like this. I will be laughing all day thinking about it. Brooke you got more balls than me . You did what a lot of us wish we had nerve to do. I hope you go next year and partake. I can see their faces now. You are a hero

  Going to church

  i am definatly not a jw anymore.

  but what am i. my husband wants to find a church home, but everytime he talks about it the hair on the back of my neck stands up.

  i would rather have my teeth drilled.

  I agree with xjw. Find a Calvary Chapel . I wanted to understand the bible. I went to different churches and wasnt satisfied . Thats how I got mixed up with the JWS. I thought they knew the bible but when 1975 didnt happen and too many things happened that wasnt right with me. I faded away. Then like a miracle in 1992 I found Calvary Chapel . They teach the bible chapter by chapter verse by verse . I now have a personal relationship with Jesus. This learning process is still going on . The Bible became so exciting theres no other book like it.

  This is at the time when the Babylonians destroyed the city and took the Israelites captive. The Babylonians are taunted them and jeering them to sing. The Babylonian soldiers took their babies out of the womens arms and took them by the heels and dashed their brains out. Because there is a just God some one will do the same to the Babylonians which is what they pray for. Cyrus the Great through his general did exactly to the Babylonians what the Babylonians had done to the people of Jerusalem.Its the law of retribution.

  Ironic hypocrisy of Bethel "service"

  i normally let people make their own decisions with a very hands off approach, but after reading the "living together in bethel" (or whatever the name of the piece of crap book is) i need to vent a bit.. anyone here is very familiar with the "quit your job or at least cut way back" talks that we were subjected to seemingly every other week.

  after all, good dubz need time to prepare, attend, pioneer etc.

  a good friend of mine left her job at an insurance co. to pioneer.

  back when i was a boy in the 1950s many men wore hats and so did my father.. one evening at the kh he was called in to the backroom by the elders for a 'meeting after the meeting',.

  his crime?

  he had been seen raising his hat when greeting women!!!!.

  Toilet paper was invented by the chinese AD1391 The bureau of imperial supplies began producing 720,000 sheets of toilet paper a year,each sheet measuring two feet by three feet. For use by the emperors united states packaged toilet paper in 1857. The chinese were pagan so the JWS should not be using toilet paper. It should be a disfellowship offense.I think its very worldly to use toilet paper. what do you think? yucca
