If he loves childre or anyone why isn't he doing anything abou tthe horrible things that affect them that they have no power to escape. Has any one seen the news about the mother who was beating her daughter in the parking lot in Indiana?

Does god love children?
by kelsey007 inmany people claim that the god of the bible loves children and fetuses.
but what does the bible say?
according to god's law, children are not persons but the property of their fathers, who may sell them as slaves.

Wow they had that many kids. I guess I have been out of touch. Although I don't think my sister and brother in law have much contact with them, maybe none.
Revmalk, What congregation were you in?

Spencer Winterburn is Sherry Innes' son, he's married to my oldest sister, Susan, I'm not sure why the different last names. When he was younger he had dark hair but was balding early. He has a very strange accent. Sort of a combo of English and southern with some other things thrown in. He says Jehover and ideer ( Jehovah and idea ). Judy Guimond, her maiden name was Innes I think, was married to some guy, I can't remember his name, that turned out to be gay, I think he ended up commiting suicide. I,m pretty sure Sherry is living with Judy and her son Joe again.
The readhead is their other sister Rosemary, The guy with the pizzaria is Carl. I'm not sure if they are still married. I know they had problems. They had three redheaded kids, one boy and two girls. The name Vanessa comes to mind for one of them but I may be wrong.

Dazed, I haven't seen her for a long time but I do know that she is still alive. My sister mentioned awile back that she is having a hip replacement (I think) sometime. Maybe it was this summer. I haven't heard from any one in my family since the end of June when I told them my son was in the Army Reserve and had left for basic training.
Anyway, it is nice to hear from someone from this area. Are you still around here?

I was in a program once with my sister and I was supposed to read a scripture about some prophet. I can't remember which one, but it said something about "the visions of his head upon his bed" Something about the way it rhymed, I couldn't read it without giggling. We practiced the thing a bunch of times and it just got worse and worse. We should have switched parts but we didn't so when Thursday night rolled around, I bravely tried to read it and of course I started laughing hysterically. I had to leave the platform and let my sister finish the whole thing. I think she was more mortified than I was. I spoiled her perfect image. els

Is There "Something Of The Night" There?
by Englishman inall this talk of subliminal images has got the old brain-box working overtime.. i'm just recalling being taken to the kingdom hall as an 8 year old child.
my parents had great difficulty in actually getting me there, i would kick and yell the house down in protest every sunday afternoon when it was time to leave, so great was my dislike of the meetings that we attended at staines kingdom hall.. you see, what upset me, was that i felt a sort of sinister atmosphere present there.
i got the same sort of vibes from the societies books and magazines and loathed having to read them.

I don't remember feeling as strongly when I was little but when I got married and had my two children I got to where I couldn't take it any more. The last meeting I went to we were huddled together in the back row and I was just crying and I couldn't stop. We left and never went back. Maybe having kids triggered something, I had to protect them.

Yes, she did. I had forgotten about that. It's been a very long time since I've thought about any of this. Why is it that now that I may be DFed or DA myself I am remembering so much? I feel sorta nostalgic about it all.

Probably a dumb question.
by els ini've been lurking around reading pretty much all of the posts for probably a month.
i just registered and set up a profile which has a brief synopsis of my life.
well the first thing i want to ask is, what does dub stand for?

dakotared, Thank you. I am going to print that for my son. I am so tired of hearing that Jehovah will take care of the evils in this world. Well what the hell is he waiting for? Only an evil God could be looking down and watching and doing nothing.

Just a small part of me
by nilfun inthis is a small part of me.. it is a strange thing how sometimes only one.
child in a family will be mistreated, while the rest are spared.. it makes it difficult if not impossible to talk about things that happened.
to me without some of my family members expressing disbelief.
