  i know brothers that hunt on wt property in ny for deer.

  growing up as a dub...the whole family....whole congo really... had guns for hunting.

  worked in law enforement for years once i got out....wife and i both legally "carry" all the time now.

  since i have a little too much time up my sleave at present i thought id start a thread on a subject thats dear to my froggy heart.

  for starters, here are a couple of links to on-line ecological footprint calculators that only take a couple of minutes to punch in basic data to get back a rough environmental impact assessment on how sustainable your lifestyle is.

  sustainability requires decent and equitable living within the means of nature.

  When elders disagree....

  here's the situation.... my da has been finally announced last thursday.

  now, the thing is, my father asked the elders if it was still okay for him to talk to me.. elder1 says :no, she is daed, is not living with her family anymore, you can't talk or associate with her in any way.

  (that elder has been shunning his daughter for a few years now.).

  I DA'd...my folks helped us with childcare every week for awhile....were told by the CO that only contact for FAMILY EMERGENCIES were allowed.

  i couldn't help but smile at the news last night.

  here in san diego, 3 guys are being chased by the police while driving their stolen car.

  the fog gets quite thick, so the police stop the chase, but then realize that the car they were chasing pulled over.

  I'm still trying to figure out how poverty drove them to the desperate act of stealing a car to joyride in lol

  I've worked in law enforcement since I "got out".....

  don't have a lot of sympathy for law breakers.

  those "kids" would be alive if they were in school or working an after school JOB.
