  with all the furor over the jw's cash strapped pleas, i'm surprised no one noticed a different issue with this broadcast.

  it was historic!

  yes, all 7 of the gb have broadcast in the 7 months of the channel's existence!

  so it was reported that the wt made $60,000,000 in canada last year (?).

  working on the assumption that this figure is from not only donations, but from property revenues and other ventures from the branch, we get a figure of $528 per publisher, per year.

  the calculation: 60,000,000 / 113,617 (2014 av pubs) = $528 a year per publisher.

  Wow! ! ! I googled jw's , and then pushed NEWS , and everything having to deal with Letts rant ..is ALL BAD.

  Theres no way he's not gonna see how dumb he looked, and sounded. All he has to do is look himself up on the web.

  after the bombshell that is the may broadcast asking for cold hard cash, i was thinking about the mathematics of the money that they want.

  details are very few, but with help from a few people we could build up a decent guess about cashflow.

  we know that 6 buildings recently were sold for 375 million dollars, tax free i assume.

  They use words like "a few weeks" so it wont hite them in the ass later.....it could mean 1 - 20 if they were ever asked to explain.

  so the org is on a big "beg for money" drive right?.

  so either they are running out of money and will eventually cease to have as much influence, or, it is evidence of a lack of backing from "god", so they will eventually fade away?.

  either way, it's a "lose / lose" situation for the org!.
