i was informed the following incident actually took place: .
two elders were having a conversation at the front of the kingdom hall when a little girl walked up behind one and then came around to his front and looked up at his face.
she then went back behind him and looked at the back of his head, before coming round again to look back up at his face.

i'm just wondering how everyone was changed by the wts emotionally.
i find that after going through being df'd and the shunning, the general loss of everything that i'm much harder, i give people less sympathy than i used to, things that are seriuos such as deaths and the like just don't move me much.
i feel desensitized, sorta detached i let so much just roll off my back than i used to.
VS,
Great to see you posting again.

hi, i would like to find a website with the statistic of the growth within the mormons church.
do they grow quicker than the jehovah witness?
my guess is that they grow a little bit quicker but it would be fine to have some proofs of that.

Angrier - but I'm hoping this will pass. It's only been three months since I came out, but Claire seems to be handling it better than I. I guess it's because I feel such an idiot for even believing all that stuff (and then, looking back, knowing that something wasn't quite right but not doing something about it earlier). It isn't easy, is it!

oh, call me anal but i'm kinda bummed.
school's out final grades are in and i'm a little disappointed.
creative writing-should be an a but she hasn't put it in yet.
Photography-AWell, you certainly played to your strengths, Sheila! And as for getting 'B's, wow! I guess I'd have settled for that. You're too perfectual, but that's not a bad thing either.
Well done. You thoroughly deserve it!

What Did You "Become" After Leaving The Watchtower?
A regular JWD freak.
Why?
Because it's given me a lot of strength and I've made true friends - even though we've never met.

This went on for a couple more times before the elder concerned was no longer able to contain his curiosity at the little girl's actions. Looking down at her he asked: "What's the matter?"
The little girl replied: "Well, I heard my mummy say you had two faces."
Whoooooooooops!
'just when i'm about to get out, they keep pulling me back in"- godfather 3.. this quote does'nt truly apply to me, but just when i am convinced there are absolutely no redeemable qualities about the borg this really nice elder comes up to me and very calmly tells me how much i am loved and missed at the meetings, to not feel any pressure, and that jehovah will always be there for me, and that he (the elder) would too.
he had a very calm, serene, quality about him.
came off as truly "spiritual".
.."the devil transforms himself into an angel of light"
Well, I don't know about the Devil, but if you just read some of the threads here you'll get a good indication of the Watchtower as a whole. The guy who visited you may or may not be genuine. However, the organisation he represents IS genuine! GENUINELY NASTY!!

every now and then you hear on the news that a woman has given birth to a baby and never realized that she was pregnant.
oh, come on now, there are enough changes in a woman's body for her to know that something is up....it just astounds me that nine months can go by without the woman suspecting a thing.....unless you are numb from the neck down, or two cards short of a deck.surprise!
you're having a baby.
"She didn't realize she was pregnant," Lakeland Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Cindy Sternlicht said. "When they asked if she had any reason to believe she was pregnant, she said, 'No.'"
As there was no mention of any father, do I sense another religious cult coming along!

so i'm sitting here at work and it just dawned on me that i use the same phrase over and over subconsciously.
in my job i have lots of people that thank me on the phone and for some reason instead of saying "your welcome" (which i do use occasionally) i say "not a problem" or "no problem".. what is your little catch phrase that you subconsciously use?.
spice of the fluffy friday class
"Er, fancy an early night, darling!"
