This is true!
On arriving at the Kingdom Hall for the Sunday morning meeting there was a For Sale sign outside. As hall servant, I was asked to go round to the estate agents, who opened on Sunday, to ask them if they would take the sign down as quickly as possible.
I asked the P.O. if there was a problem regarding the sign as everyone in the congregation knew we were trying to sell the hall.
"We don't have For Sale signs outside of Kingdom Halls." he replied.
I never knew that! Apparently, KHs can be sold through estate agents but not advertised by sign - or was that just our elders being stupid???
Whatever, the guy who put the sign up came back to take it down - and the sign promptly ended up going through a large window Glass was everywhere!
Eventually the hall was sold - to a spiritualist!

According to my Christian beliefs, Jehovah God did NOT make any provisional arrangements regarding the animal kingdom as to allowing animals to live forever with man here on the earth in the new system of things.
Your beliefs are Watchtower ones, not Christian! Have you learnt nothing from this forum? I ask this in all sincerity and not to rile you. How can you come to a forum in which people open their hearts and expose the damaging influence of Watchtower and prove that Jehovah (YHWH) is a false god and yet you still hold to JW teaching (or are you using semantics when you say you are a Jehovah God Witness)?

The site you recommend is a typical Biblical apologist's site. It's hardly going to be unbiased with a title like 'Tekton - Building Blocks for the Christian Faith'. Please direct us to a non-apologist site that will back up your view that the New Testament Canon was inspired by God and that the books therein were written by the named "authors".

At the church we attend I have seen peoples lives changed by God. Drug addicts, alcoholics etc changed. Even those with no problems like that have had lives changed and its effected others around them.
I meant to post this in reply to yours earlier:
Many drug addicts have attended counselling sessions for their addictions, the same for alcoholics (such as AA) and still others by talking to a therapist. Obviously, these type of specialist "help sessions" don't work for everyone - but does religion work for everyone? No!
My point is, many people who have attended these sessions HAVE been helped without having to read a single page of scripture or without hearing a single sermon. Religion, I daresay, does work for a lot of people, but it is by no means the definitive panacea.
