  that same question applies to catholics, jews, islamists, baptists and so on.

  just because you belong to a religion, does it mean you espouse every idea that they have ever presented?.

  I was an elder for nearly 20 years. Never really believed the blood stuff prohibition, the resurrection theory of who will be raised and who will not, the "spirit anointing" of the partakers, how part of Revelation could be symbolic and some things be literal, the calculation of the 2,520 years from 607bc, how we came up with 607bc, "the day for a year" punishment formula, really most of the bs that didn't go along with common sence, etc....... but I went along because I was also a 'captive of the concept'. Holy crap----50 years of going along.

  Recent reports of 'stoning' to death of Muslims (mostly women) probaly relieves the GB a little for the their stance on shunning which is 'spiritual' stoning. How could yhwh ever ask another human to stone to death their fellow man? Simple--man invented yhwh to do the dirty work for them.

  Ever witness a litteral stoning? Gruesome slow death? Don't that draw you closer to yhwh?

  why won' t they admit that they said it.

  they also use " some have said/thought" as if distancing themselves from the crap, it makes them less responsible.. it is like aaron's golden calf it just "came on out " of the fire all by itself!.

  1969 Awake it was that "promised" us young ones that we would never get old in this system of things. I was 21 then and am now nearly 68. Is 68 old? Guess not!

  I feel so liberated after 62 years in the cult. Although the last 15-16 years have been doubt ridden. No more FOG. No more wasted weekends. No more fear of a god that simply does not answer prayers.

"not untill we are lost do we begin to understand ourselfs" henry david thoreau.. " better to never start, once started better finnish" the way of the peaceful warrior.. " health is wealth" source a friend once said.. .

  me thinks that we be about the same age of 66-67. i also went through the war stuff and was sentenced to a hospital for 2 years. better than prison but didn't get to brag about my incarceration like rutherford did. 12 years an elder, 3 years a pioneer. i was the po in 1975. wow time flys.

  so in a hundred years, abel didn't father any children? and cain neither? must have been a shortage of women. but jehober said to multiply. i guess that cain was not too smart and thought multiply meant to subtract. he must have been home schooled with no higher education.

  jehober is a blood thirsty god of the tribe of israel. yea right that abel thought of killing/slaughtering animals to please god! why did jehober think it was necessary to have such bloody worship when today jw's would be appalled by such blood spilling. when people today slaughter an animal for sacrifice to their god, society is absolutely appalled. it's disgusting to think that a loving god would want humans to slaughter his lovely little creatures.
