  New Video “Remember the Wife of Lot” (the "drama" shown at the convention)

  Wouldn't it be a much more interesting video if the borg explained exactly why Lot's wife was (lol) supposedly turned into a pillar of salt for looking back? (wtf) But Lot and and his two slutty daughters were blessed by jehober. Just days after poor old Lot's wife was 'a salted', Lot, (supposedly) gets drunk and bangs both of his daughters (incest to the max). Not only does he get "lucky", he's a sharp shooter because (supposedly) both daughters get pregnant with one shot! What a guy! So, the 'word of god', aka bible, says this about LOT

  How much time and money did we waste traveling to meetings alone?

  quick answer: way too much!.

  this is something that really gets to me, all the way back to my childhood.

  twenty minutes each way, three times a week.

  The money is one thing for sure but the time spent at those bullsh*t meetings is what i regret. In my lifetime so far, doing some rough math, at least 5 meetings per week (plus lots and lots of elder meetings), times 52 weeks in the year times, times 62 years till I discovered ttatt equals 16,120 f**king meetings. Plus getting ready, plus preparation, plus travel time, plus field service, plus family study, plus sheep herding, equals literally years I'll never see again---unless jehober resurrects me--not counting on it!

  Damn it's good to be free and enjoy life now!

  The last time, 2014, I toured Wallkill, the tour guide sister pointed out to all a glass encased shrine containing the used bibles of CT Russell and JF Rutherfart. But of course we adulate them as celebs, or do we?

  Was in Kiev international convention in 1992 at the old soccer stadium. At the convention conclusion a couple of the gb members circled the track waving their hankies to the crowd as everyone stood and applauded--but we don't adulate them as celebs---or do we?

  Interesting that the wt teaches that jehober doesn't necessarily protect individuals (he protects his organization as a whole from satan) but he definitely disciplines individuals!

  Do you find it therapeutic coming to this site?

  i read on another thread how this site has helped another user and that for them it has been a form of therapy.. for me yes, jwn has most certainly been a form of therapy.. i recall the days i first came to jwn (in 2004) and couldn't​ believe i had found people who were of the same opinion as myself in regards to the society.

  it was this site that led me to reading ray franz's book 'crisis of conscience' which i read twice within a week.

  it also led me to jw facts that goes into every nook and cranny regarding the society's​ teachings, policies and history.. note: i also visit many other sites and watch you tube videos a lot, but gravitate here most of the time.. coming here to express my inner most thoughts and feelings has helped me no end and allows me to overcome my frustrations.

  I have to agree with all the commentators so far. Without a doubt, this site has become my "go to" site for the latest and greatest shit from the wtbts. I was and elder (big deal--I know) for decades. I was basically a born-in since my mom started us in the jw religion when I was only 4 yo. I spent the late 60's, 70's, 80's, and most of the 90's being a 'golden boy' for the wt. It's a real f**king shock to the system when one discovers that one has been duped for nearly 60 years. The mental and emotional upheaval of that realization put me in the hospital for a month followed by months of therapy! I'm feeling fantastic now! I now own a life worth living. No more FOG. The shackles are off. The freedom to think and say what I really believe is beyond liberating!

  I thank the many here that have reaffirmed my confidence in humankind. I thank the many here that helped me to remain patient in my, so far, successful fade. (Unfortunately, my wife and several of my children still remain captive to the wtbts, but I'm working on that with some success.) I thank the many here for their fantastic research in an effort to reveal ttatt. I thank Simon for his labor, a genuine labor of love for truth! I also thank those who disagree with the value of this site because your contributions demonstrate that it's okay to have your OWN ideas about things even if I think they're ridiculous.

  Circumcision....Perfect Adam....Uncircumcised....1st century Christians...circumcision ont required

  i know this has been discussed many times, but i was watching a news story about female genital mutilation (not female circumcision) and segued mentally into why the hassle about male babies having to be circumcised, christians especially.

  even the wts flipflops on this...... if adam, the first perfect man, not under the jewish law code, was given a foreskin by god as an aspect of his physical perfection, why then do so many "christian" people have their boy babies circumcised?.

  if a health issue....why did god create the perfect man, adam, with a foreskin?.

  My question is: why would Saul tell (that little f**king weasel) David that 100 foreskins was the price for his daughter? Everyone has to know that David did not circumcise 100 or 200 men. he slew them and cut of their male member! God's "chosen people" were a bunch of sick bastards and sexual perverts!   so jah can build a broadcasting studio in record time, provide a cool summer so the new bibles can be printed on time without the presses overheating, but cant deliver his people in russia?!.
