she died peacefully in her sleep.

It is that time of year again.....
by caspian inyes my good friends it is september, elders all around the world are having their loving elders meetings, where they discuss coming to see you all to encourage you back to the fold.... hurrah!
returning to jehovah.
7 but may the elders themselves take any initiative in approaching a disfellowshipped person?

Troublesome Trinity Verses Part 1

the first one is 1 corinthians 8:6: .
"but to us there is but one god, the father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one lord jesus christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

The WTBTS is WRONG - I know that -- from my research /reading there is no doubt Jesus is divine and absolutely central to the Christian faith and JWs minimize him -- but that still does not make him par tof the trinity -- the stupidest thing a born-again christain ever said to me was that it was like light - it is dual natured -- both a particle and a wave but that scientist do not understand it but they accept it -- then I really blew him off -- and got into my real show off mode - and mathematically proved it to him on the doorstep -- my companion on the door at the time -- said "that was untheocratic and unchristian, brother' -- I replied all trinitarians really piss me off -- she did not report me to the elders thoug -- I was an elder -- and she was shocked

and of course it is the end of the service year where the ychase up all those straggling reports and make up the gold ole worldwide false report where a few missing months all get totalled in the August report -- helps give the new Peak which if you chjeck previous years is lways in August - the last month of the service year

And I say again -- read the history of the Arian controversy in the 2nd - 4th centuries -- Read when Jesus became God -- just because the watchtower tells lies does not make the trinity correct - trust me I am not brainwashed by the WTBTS - I would not be on this board if I was -- the controversy was between two bishops mainly - one was called Arius he was non trinitarian Jesus is not God but yes the Watchtower tells lies and distorts -- but that still does not alter facts -- I wish when I defend the monotheistic viewpoint people would stop labelling me as watchtower brainwashed -- I am very widely read outside their literature and did not come into the truth until my late 20s after I had a first class education -- and now I am saying too much and helping to give my identity away

I am not interested in brownie points --- it was what attracted to me to JWs in the first place - exactly that question -- who did Jesus pray to? --I had been asking the question for years to all the born-again types- -I never got an answer that made sense -- when JWs said one was the Father one was the son and the other a sort of active force it all made total sense - sorry if I still sound like a JW - I am (in theory)

he is having a hard time with the romance deptartment.
i gave him a few ideas of my own but i thought if i threw the question out there maybe i could get him some views on how to romance a woman..... thanks for any sugggestions.

LittleToe -- I am not a JW appologist -- I just can not believe the trinity -- I have read far too many books (the trinity brochure I have read but it is not what I would call a scholarly publication) - -I perhaps tend to trust academics too much -- there are so many reasons why it is a farcical teaching -- "Hear O Israel the lord our God is actually not one God but Three now fancy that" -- but I do not trust or belive the JW teachings either -- or most of their explanations -- prefer PhD thesis etc.
