This sounds rather typical of the 'net' experience. Being the adventerous sort, I have met a number of people through the net. They all have told me most of the guys they meet are just looking to get laid. Not that getting laid is a bad thing but the point was most of these guys were 'with-holding certain facts'...like being married!
I have found there are four basic kinds of women on the net. (This is not an attack on women).
1.) Total and complete loonies! Ones who hear voices and shit!
2.) Ones I call Cyber Circes, after the enchantress in the Odyssey that detained Odysseus for a year from this true love and turned his men into pigs! This lovely is just a time waster who get some vicarious thrill out of getting guys to tell them all kinds of personal stuff online but has no intention of ever meeting the fellows.
3.) Lairs. Everything they tell you is suspect... their age, weight, marital status, kids, work, you name it they lie about it!
4.) The person who is honestly just trying to meet people and hates the bar scene.
There must be some decent people out there, we meet them in public. But the ladies I have meet on the net are very guarded. Now, that's the ones who were type four. I have run into a bunch of threes too! Scary! I can just imagine how ii is for the ladies! Maverick

I don't know if it just a J-dud problem with relationships, but the rules in dud-land don't help at all once you are on the out side. The information I wanted to share comes from the web site www.doclove.com, This guy is the real deal. He knows his stuff. After reading his information I am at ease with the ladies. Not bitter or confused, I just watch with amusement the smoke and mirrors. Guys if she likes you she will make it easy, if not you will walk away confused! Women know what they are doing, turn the 'sound' down and watch her feet. Bottom line the encounter, put your ego on hold and listen to your gut feelings. Well SYN, cute stuff! I like your attitude, but as for your answers...well. You are right about older women. But of the four cut and paste replies...none of them actually answered any of the questions I asked. They were cute responses but not helpful at all to the questions.
Phones are her weapon, you call after waiting a certain amount of time and get the machine, don't leave a message. Call back at a different time...still the machine, leave a message and forget about her. She might be a screener. If she is interested, and just out, she will contact you. Don't hold your breath.
Use the net to set up the meet, no more than four very simple 'chats' and set up a coffee date. Some place safe and public, like a big book store or Starbucks.
If she brings up sex on the first date, don't bite! Change the subject...be the first man she ever met to side step this landmine.
You met Miss Right, do the things that will want her to want to keep you. So you met her...great...now be the kind of man she want to father her children!

Well Talesin, there are a lot of 'players' out there, (guys) my daughter deals with them all the time. I never said only women use and abuse. But as a general rule women understand the relationship angle much better than men. And the crap we guys where taught by the J-duds really did not help much. Most guys start off OK with the ladies but end up doing more things wrong than right and she starts looking for his replacement. All the time he thinks live is wonderfull...until she dumps him! Most guys just don't know how to treat Miss Right, or weed out Miss Wrong...that is what I am talking about. The good girls will be happy because the boys will spot them and be gentlemen and the bad girls will get stuck with the players and duds! Maverick

Notice guys, that the women have decided I'm bitter, or a women hater. They only read certain parts of my posts and then try and turn this around. Double-speak! Remember this boys, when a woman says, no games, she means yours not hers. When a woman tells you she does not care about looks or money it is because all she cares about is looks and money! If she wasn't thinking about it she would never tell you how unimportant it is! There are a lot of good women out there, you only need one good one, but how do you weed out the gold diggers, nags, inflexable takers? 25% of women marry men they are not in love with. And half of all marriages end in divorce. I am NOT saying it is the ladies fault, but I think that if men had a clue as to what the heck was going on, that number would be lower and both sexes would be happier. There are no tricks here. No one is advocating playing games or tricking the other gender. Guys just need to know what is happening when they interact with the ladies. Most do not. And they get skinned alive for their ignorance. As I see it, the only ladies that would have a problem with this are the ones that take advantage of all the stupid guys out there. Maverick
