Go take lessons. Check the local paper, there are a lot of places that offer free or nearly free dance lessons. I dance three times a week and if you stick with it you will be glad you did. I dance the latin dances ball room and hip-hop free style. Watch the videos and get off you butt, you can do it! Go have fun!

Hell Mike, what happened that you were in a situation were these Losers could get all that stupidness out of their mouths?

Had to be a long time ago, I can't imagine you not laughing in their faces half way through all that!

Maybe I'm just too mean or something, most of them either avoid me or are VERY nice to my face. If I run into any Elders that I didn't like and they make eye contact I tell them what losers they are, which is followed by a shocked look and if they even start to reply I'll walk right up to them. Each of the four times this has happened they beat feet away from me.

Generally, the Nit-Witnesses I meet play nice.

This is the one guy who could have committed murder on live TV and got acquitted!

I read Marsia Clarks book, Without a Doubt, and based on the things she reported Cochran was your big-time, scumbag, lawyer. I know scumbag, lawyer is redundant but I like the way it sounds!

This guy was a one trick pony. If he did not have the race-card to throw down he would have been just another hack lawyer driving a used Jetta with a police scanner!

My GF went to the thing and all I can say is that she came over afterward spent the night. It must have had a very profound impact on her! Great job WTS!

Based on last night I wish they would have them things three times a week!

i have been a reading these message boards for almost a year and have been thankful for the information i have read.

i have been dating a man for almost 3 years when i discovered last year he was a jw.

i have been trying to understand what this was all about - can't even begin to get a handle one how odd it can all be.

Be assured his wife told him to stay away from you. Be assured Mr. Loser is not worth your time.

how closely do you think the elders work with individuals?.

Blondie is absolutely right. Many a time the Elders would pony up any deficit. Back when we had to do a literature reconciliation often the Literature Servant would make up and short fall out of his own pocket. We had one Nit-wit Elder that would just take bibles and books whenever he felt like it and give then as tips for waitresses. Every mouth the Literature Servant was playing in $40 to $50 dollars to cover the cost of those Delux Bibles. The Elder was a pioneer and big in the circuit so the other Elders would not listen to the Lit Servant. He finally stepped down. They made a different brother Lit Servant and he told that Elder off after the first month. Different men, different approaches.

I was the Account Servant in two different Halls for a total of six years. I was never asked nor did I offer to inform any Elder about who was or who was not making regular contributions. I always used a check for the tax write off in my personal contributions. Some people would write one check and in the memo section denote how they wanted the money spit up. The CO was they only one who ever cared or asked me about the money and his only interest was that all of the WTS policies were being followed and that the WTS got their cut.

yesterday,i get a buzz from the doorbell,well i wasn't expecting anyone,niether was my roomate.well geuss who,2 elders i don't even know.they tried to introduce themselves and act all friendly.i said"i don't want to talk to you abot anything,before i could finish my statement,he tried to butt in and say something,i cut him off and said"listen,i don't want to talk to you about anything at all",in a firm tone.and shut my door.. i believe they have gotten wind of my activities in giving my family the truth about the truth.i believe they wanted to draw me into a trap so they could df me,i gave them no satisfaction.i know for a fact other my younger sisters friends know i can't stand the religion,and it has gotten back to the big bad elders.i could give a shit!they can't fool me anymore.again,this site has been a godsent,no pun intended.thanks to all my friends out in cyberspace,youve all hel[ped me out.. i also unloaded on my older ,depressed sister about the truth about the truth,she was not sure how to react,but i had to speak my peace.i can no longer pretend to co0ndone or keep silent,she has a young daughter,i had to at least warn her.and when i say unload,i mean unlo(ad!!

!i got into the jdubs history,lies ,changing doctrine,mental abuse,beth sarim,thier monitary holdings,thier guilt and scare tactics,thier exploitation of children,and ovwerall craziness that is the wtbts.i also kept calling it "the publishing company from brooklyn.

There is a lot of anger in your posts but that is to be expected. I still have a lot of unresolved animosity toward the WTS and the only thing that holds me back is the fact my GF is a pretend JW. So out of respect for her I don't take a more active, "pain in the butt" stance against the local Nit-Witnesses.

Do not let this consume you. The best way to counter the BS of the WTS is to live a happy and successful life. Good Luck!
