  Gave up studying with them!!

  i recently gave up studying with the witnesses after they told me off for going sailing with my family!

  what a crock!

  i said it was the easter long weekend and i needed to get away for a few days on the boat.

  What's Your Definition of A Nice Guy or Girl?

  t's thread and some life experiences have got me to wondering about this.

  i honestly am not sure if i know what a nice guy/woman is (odd thing to admit, half way through my life).

  the wts defined nice guy as spiritual, striving to "take the lead", putting jehovah first in all things, a "responsible family head"(open to the interpretation of local needs, lol).a nice woman is above all, submissive, putting jehovah and hubby first, and hard working.

  Mental health issues

  how many of you have experienced or are experiencing any mental health related issues?

  were/are any of these issues related to you being a jw?

  do you feel many dubs still in "the truth" have mental health issues but are afraid to seek treatment from a "worldly" psychologist or psychiatrist?.
