I never got along with the no marriage thing and child birth becoming obsolete after the supposed resurection.

I went to the Assembly....

i was at home and a man came to the door...i knew immediately he was a jw brother, however, he was quite handsome (no offense) and very well built.

he looked like a cross between brad pitt/tom cruise/evan marriott.... he wore a very nice dark gray suit that formed perfectly to his sculpted muscles...he had a very nice book bag.

black, brushed silver hardware.

what a journey this has been?

i am reflecting over the years that i spent as a jehovah's witness today mark a decade and a half.

i find it incredible that i would come to this situation.

Verses that bothered you as a JW

we find god's name "jehovah" so many times in the old testament, but not at all in the new testament.

jesus is called a "mighty god" in the bible.

jesus is also called "father".

The one that's known about "the golden rule"

No-one ever applied it.

I don't even think anybody in my old congregation even knew the understanding of it!

Bob Dylan Live 1975: Rolling Thunder Revue (The Bootleg Series Volume 5)

"god" has released a new album ...

(well, i;ve only just seen it - don't go into album shops much at my age).

one of the many oddities of bob dylan's long and unruly career has been the rather cursory recording treatment given his stint as ringleader of the rolling thunder revue.

A shop near where I live, seems to play Bob Dylan constantly. Every time that I go there , the maestro is heard. His melodic,far-reaching, lyrical genius, reaches deep into the hearts and minds of the likes of myself and other Dr Marten lovers nationwide.

Has anybody noticed...?

i was just wondering has anybody noticed that there's not as many threads being posted since the new forum was put in place?

i only get to come to the forum on the weekends so i have really noticed this and wonder why?

is it just me not being able to find them or are there really less topics being posted.

I've been trying to post for ages, I don't have my origional password, as when Simon changed to the the new site, I couldn't login!

Anyway, I' ve opened a new account albeit temporarily, until Simon sorts me out with my old password.

Hope that explains a couple of things!
