heard a witness man from south carolina, killed his family & himself...has anyone heard ?

don't think he killed himself because he was a witness, most likely crazy before he became a witness... legacy.

Whatelse can they do...I went to a sisters house when I first started studying...she kept offering me a drink, they had a full stocked bar....Witnesses eat, & drink..in abundance...ever notice when they give an illustration, it always is likened to a good meal...

The are physically & mentally suppressed. Many are working out their salvation & have alot of guilt, so going out in service helps them to avoid thinking. Some of them can't even stay at home with their ownselves. They run themselves out of their own house. Also, think of being a witness this way, many of them chose a religion that is busy, some folks like to keep busy, ask them & they don't why...this type of worship appeals to them, if they were in another type of worship, they would join every committee. Many choose a religion according to their personality...I'm a witness. But I'm not a chest beating witness. I know the bible & what it says. I will share with others what I hope will help them put their lives on the right track. I will lead them to the bible but if they want to come to the hall, I'll invite, but won't press...it's all up to them. I'm an opened minded witness, not sure how long that will last, & when I become closed minded...then I should exit stage left...Hope you Mom (Mum) doesn't go too far to put her health in danger..

Ever wonder why the Dead Sea is dead...NO OUTLET...

So many of the witnesses have no outlet...they are dead inside...

Hi,

Before Jesus was Michael the Archangel, now he is Abbadon...do you know how many witnesses didn't know that...all of them I spoke to. Many of them have been witnesses for years or even raised as a witness..& after all this time, Abbadon is now Jesus, they toss Jesus all over the place...this is another tactic to show how loving the org. is. They had to tell you something...ELSE.. you didn't know...see we are smarter than any other religion. This is a religion that started out to be a good idea, but they can't keep it up. They are afraid folks are waking up they are, but many might wake up to leave.

Jesus is God's son, that's it...God said it, this is my son, not my angel, not Abbadon, not Michael...but just hold on...in a few years, they are going to make Jesus someone else...they ain't finished with him yet.

I agree...many of witnesses send their reps. to the hall, meaning, they are not who they appear to be. Many witnesses are hurting inside but if they talk to anyone, they just say pray to God...So sad...Just was wondering why it wasn't mentioned on this site, they mention things that happen on the other side of the world, but right here in our own backyard, nope....

Why Do Some Ex-JWs Get Their Feelings Hurt So Badly By Shunning?

i ran in to a ex-jw and had a good laugh once he realized i was not going to shun him.

i am a different soul when we are dealing with watchtower demonology, everything about the organization is fan boy based.

watchtower creates the illusion of a community that never existed, we were too blind to realize most of the people we invested time with was nothing more than a farce, once you can't offer up more sacrfices on the watchtower's alter, your going to get less attention and eventually if your kingdom hall is big enough, they won't come looking for you.. .

I didn't read all the comments but what I think is that, it's ok, when you are doing the shunning but when it comes to bite you in the behind...you say, How could they. Most folks project, yet when it comes their time...a different story...Most while in say, well, DF'ing is scriptural & it keeps the org. clean...NOT...but when it happens to them...oh, much different story. But isn't that all kinds of people...tell folks to correct their children but when it comes to their children, nobody better not say nothing to them...I think many of the shunned or DF'd witness were hard core JW's ...they shunned, they gossiped, they judged. So to think it could & would happen to them...NOT...as my Mom says about the witnesses, they very highly of themselves. I'm a witness, I love the message...don't agree with Df'ing or shunning...now being spoken to if a member may be going astray, that's ok, but just talk to them & don't berate them...maybe they just need to talk to someone....When they talk about Df'ing, I shut up..why because it can happen to me...I hope not but one never knows do one? If they do, well, that's life, but no org. can keep me away from God or Jesus, their line is open anytime...So for me to be on board about DF'ing & shunning is just projecting....it's as if I like people to be punished...that's not for me...

So, I think many get their feelings hurt is because they use to be the ones shunning...at one time.

Is The Governing Body Over Jehovah's Witnesses A Bunch Of Arrogant Old Retirees Considering After All That They Claim To Be Christ's Right Hand Man Directing His Dad's Organization On Earth?

these guys believe that they are running and directing "god's organization" and it is all based on some flimsy parable interpetation about a master who left a slave in charge while he went away with the outcome uncertain upon his return.

not a very solid case to be pointedly honest.

jesus would have made a better choice of donald trump to run his father's business/watchtower corporation, he's less arrogant and doesn't discourage higher education, and plastic children's toys are not a major concern of his.. what is arrogance?.

Well said...I have been on this site for a short while...so much information, yet, as you say, GB's don't hear it, true witnesses don't believe it. When an ex witness has a chance to really TTATT, they back away or say or do something cleaver. Nothing ever comes of it...Mad at God, why, they are not mad at God, they are angry with themselves for believing stuff that they knew wasn't true, but blame God. Yet, some where the same before they left the Org. hitting folks over the head with their doctrine, shunning folks. As you say, why not knock all religious sects, none of them have it right...not one. The bible is just telling us how to be kind to one another...that's it....life lessons.

I just wanted to comment on your comment...I feel the same way...I'm a witness, & I know, TTATT, but know TTATT re: all religions...Jesus is the way to God...so in plain English, follow him...imitate him, love like him...LOVE covers a multitude of sins...& makes the world go 'round..

They didn’t leave Egypt when Aaron & Moses rec’d this message, yes, this was to be done from that time & onward, even after they left Egypt, but this was a lifesaving message given to them WHILE THEY WERE STILL IN EGYPT…For I will pass through the land of Egypt on this night and strike every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man to beast;+ and I will execute judgment on all the gods of Egypt.+ I am Jehovah. 13 The blood will serve as your sign on the houses where you are; and I will see the blood and pass over you, and the plague will not come on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.+

This was to make sure God wouldn’t destroy them when the plague came…if they left Egypt, there would be no need for this to happen…they would have been out of there, so God could bring the plague if he wanted to….it wouldn’t affect them in the least….Again, this was a protection for them WHILE THEY WERE STILL IN EGYPT..

So what do some of you think...is Satan blinding me ? I was thinking on Sunday to answer the question I would comment & read directly from the bible & say the first line of this scripture....Ex. 12:1:Jehovah now said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt....blah blah. Now I know that no one will say anything but maybe a little lightbulb will go off in their heads....I'm not looking for any major change of mind...but just an ummm moment from the friends, would be an improvement....

This entire article was written for one reason only....OBEY THE ELDERS...all that Kings & Dukes, is all a smoke screen. This was directed to the flock. They had to come up with a clever article to attach the OBEY THE ELDERS MESSAGE...Wonder how long they pondered this scripture & this thought.

When I went to the meeting yesterday, I told one of the sisters, watch the comments are going to come mostly from the males in the congregation. Men like history & the details of history, females on the other hand, not so much. When the meeting was finished she said, you were right, most of the men commented. I just smiled...cuz I know...TTATT.

I love this site, because being forewarned is being forearmed...So if one day the end don't come fast enough for the org. they just might decide to make the end come sooner & decide to start mixing a drink, I will sit by the door 'fore they lock it...Anyone remember Jim Jones ?

I use to pity the witnesses but now I'm one, & I still feel pity because they don't know TTATT, yet they do, but afraid to voice it...
