There is plenty of evidence...the changing of doctrines, the generation, the FDS not a class anymore. New or revised Bible, most of the literature/books have to be updated re: the Revision of the bible...THE REVISION OF THE BIBLE...that should have been a red flag for them. The WT of July 2013...all those changes should have convinced them, instead, all they say, well, it's a new understanding & it's it humble that the org. owns up to their mistakes, no other religion does that...& you know why, CUZ THEY DON'T HAVE TO...They are sticking to their story right or wrong. If the friends actually see an emotional problem at HDQ, that might just rock their boat but anything they say...is the Gospel.
Most of the friends in or out have seen evidence that this may not be God's org. but they don't care. I have searched my little brain & wondered what question(s) to ask a JW...nothing...let them ask & answer their own questions, remember witnesses are known to have the last word & all the answers.
The Org. is an emotional attachment for the majority of the friends. Take it away from them....talk about mayhem in the streets...cuz you know witnesses are not balanced, they are heartedly in the org. or out on a drinking/sex binge...No balance...

a good question to ask a jw is: do you follow what the bible teaches or what the watchtower organization says?
then ask them to give you just one example of a doctrine in the bible, that they have ascertained through their individual bible study, that is different from what is taught by the watchtower.
of course, they cannot honestly answer without admitting that they do in fact follow the watchtower and not the actual bible.

Friends we are going to have a talk given by Bro. Righteous...the microphones get adjusted the brother messes with the podium turning the little place where he places his bible & looks out into the audience & says..."WOULD YOU STAY IF WE WERE TOLD THIS IS NOT GOD'S ORGANIZATION" ? We are not God's org., but we do try to stick as close to the bible as humanly possible...That would be the day where, you might not hear crickets ...I think most of them would just gasp, & some would just pass out..

10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.
walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .
some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

I will stay with the org. until I'm not happy anymore....re: child abusers, I think the fault is not going to the police first, then let the police come to the elders. I heard a story, won't blast it but the story didn't jive when I first heard it....so I first thought well they should have gone to the police but the story was so convuluded that they must of thought I can't tell the police this..Some of the friends trust the brothers so much, they put their childs life in harms way. I don't care, if you have children, no man or woman is going to be left alone with my child, if I can help it. As much as we think we know folks, we don't. I think many don't go to the police because some not all stories are a little flaky, as I said, I know of a couple of stories & they just don't sound right, seems like the mother left the child or not paying attention. The problem or the consequences of knocking on doors, you are liable to get anyone, child abusers, drunks whatever...most of these type of folks are shut ins..& when there is a knock at the door they open it because most of the world isn't even checking for them. It's like putting you phone # out there & say, Call me...you never know what or who you going to get.
Flipper, I have found comfort with the scriptures & happen to like my congregation...but I don't hang with them that much, that's when the trouble starts. I'm a mature woman 60 yrs. I see through them & the young ones just don't know how to take me, because they are telling me about how to abstain from sex, oh, the married ones are the first ones to tell you how you can stay chaste, I tell them, you haven't a clue, when you roll over at night your hubby is right there, whether you want him or not. Because if the org. came into the married couples bedrooms & told them to abstain from sex, they would all be in rehab, & alot of DF'ing would be going on too....I will always come to this site to make sure I'm on the right track. I like talking to you Flipper...hope to hear from you again.

Isn't there a scripture that says, they come into widows homes ...Mark 12:40 40 They take advantage of widows and rob them of their homes, and then make a show of saying long prayers. Their punishment will be all the worse. I think there is another one as well, but can't find it at the moment...But what they do is love bomb you. If you have never been loved bomb before or have lost love, as you say, you are a perfect target. I remember one sister told me, she was a single Mom, she wouldn't know what to do if she didn't have the witnesses. Many of them get overwhelmed with having children, especially if they are divorced or just a single Mom. But if you don't watch them they'll lean on the friends to help them raise the children. I have my own opinion of this...not enough time to share that.
Most of the friends are needy....they need constant encouragement, constant stroking, their knees are bad, they have a bad hip & on & on...never ever feeling well. When I started I started to feel my legs & hips stiffen...then I said, Hey stop that, ain't nothing wrong with you, been hanging around them witnesses too long, talk about watch your association. If you stay around them long enough, you'll start to whine & complain how bad this system is. I know things are bad but I don't focus on it.
Why is it so easy for witnesses to SHUN....what type of people find it easy to SHUN...what type of personality lends itself to that type of behavior ? Who were they before they came into the truth...did they ever talk to their neighbors, or when they saw them they shut their doors or on an elevator, when someone else came on did they look at the floor to avoid eye contact or to have to say hello...that's another question, isn't it. What kind of person agrees with DF"ing, that's like someone finding out, that there isn't any hell for folks to be punished. I'm just saying.

When I started reading the article, I said to myself, now they are trying to dictate how to pray. You can run but you can't hide from BIG BROTHER ORG.They would like to control all aspects of ones life...Amazing. Well prepared prayers...that all sounds good on paper but when you are in the thick of things you just talk to God. A well prepared prayer is asking for something specific, or when realize that lately you have been doing drive-by prayers, then you might think to yourself, hey, I haven't really spent too much time with God. Only you would know that.
When I looked at the 1st illustration, I did say to myself, glad I'm at the KH & sitting. Imagine them reading from AM to midday, then setting up booths & then & then....my my, alot of standing. So I do appreciate the comfy KH's as mentioned in the paragraph.
With the new changes they have to recapture the minds of the flock. They are afraid folks are catching on that the ORG. don't have a clue to what they are talking about, as long as it's the total opposite of all doctrine, faiths & worship, that's all they care about. &&&& Last but not least...THIS IS GOD'S ORGANIZATION.
I tried to comment but we had alot of visitors so, I wasn't called on. Such is life...The paragraph where the Israelites were praising God, they sure where buttering up God, praising him saying he's the greatest....then turn right around & did what they wanted...Fair weather christians..

It's really simple. They have found a place that has accepted them. Many of them may have emotional problems & the world may not accept them, but go into a KH, you can be a child abuser, wife beater....etc. if they don't show signs of these behaviours, they are accepted. Some of these emotional folks where shut ins...some witness knocked on their door & accepted them & accepted a bible study & off into the wild blue yonder. So wild horses couldn't drag them away. Most witnesses are social misfits, not all.
I have been in the truth for just a little while & the ones I know...there is nothing anyone can say to make them leave..for some they have made being a witness their life. They have nothing to do with other folks so, in all honesty where DO THEY CALL OR WHERE CAN THEY GO ? Even if they wanted to they feel they would have to start all over again. They are uncomfortably comfortable...

jw literature is racist as hell.
jesus looks like an american folk singer, the governing body look like a corrupt version of an enron luncheon.. the jw's literally print different magazines for africa with african pictures, black people instead of white, to make it 'more appealing' to them.... just to be clear that means they think the opposite is true too!.
....and then there is the lack of black angels..... .

So true, we now have a black president..that changes everything. We know who at one time was in charge....don't we ? Let's take this example...if you had a household & you were in charge of it, how easy would you give up being in charge....you wouldn't. So with America, White folks are going out kicking & screaming, because as far as they are concerned it's their country...Why do you think they called it the White House....I'm just saying...No one ever thought slavery would end, & it did. The world is changing the color of the world is changing....yes, the majority of the money is still with the white folks but the complexion of the world is way different.
Look at it this way, if it wasn't color it would be something else...I agree with Adjustments..until God comes, it's going to stay this way. In the words of Rodney King...."Can't we all just get along?"...

the fact that there are imperfect humans involved in the organisation is very much irrelevant.. .
we all accept, including jdubs, that these men are just men who may think and say wrong things like the rest of us as they go about their own lives.

Maybe that's just what they tell us. They are supposedly directed by God's Holy Spirit. Maybe it's just a bunch of old men behind the curtain. Does the Wizard of Oz come to mind. I'm trying to think of Jesus's disciples, did they ever mislead the congregation. Did Paul, John, Luke, Mark etc. mislead..No they were imperfect men, just the like the GB's, but only difference is that they taught what was told to them or what they had witnesses. Oh sure they had personality hang nails. That is what being imperfect is... one disciple thought much of himself another one denied Christ 3 times & so on, but never did they misquote God/Jesus or say, God/Jesus said this & I got it wrong...Yes, Jesus had to correct them on many occasions, but not about doctrine.
The org. TRIES (with an extra "S") to stick as close to the bible as possible, yet they read too much into what it says. Like there are 2 classes, the Heavenly Hope & the Earthly Hope....I don't think so. But we all have to remember the witnesses see themselves all over the bible...Certain scriptures they'll say, that's us, we are the Jeremiah class, the Noah class & so on...just buttering up the flock...I use to work for a company that we were no longer called employees but associates..that was supposed to make us feel we were a part of the company more than employees. So many stuck out their chest & said, I'm no employee I'm an associate...& all that did is make one work harder. Words can help or harm, depending on what you want from folks...They say the 8 men are imperfect, so be it, but is God/Jesus or the Holy Spirit imperfect & are they listening to them or themselves.
It's all a mind game....some fall into it & others like me...& those on this forum, aren't drinking the kool-aide..
I have been to many places of worship....ain't no place got the truth...only the bible...
