Bethel's Engines of Theocratic Warfare
by gitasatsangha indoes anyone know if the wts puts insurance on their presses?
i mean.. this is entirely theoretical mind you, but suppose someone, i dont know, on the bethel tour accidentally dropped a wrench (spanner for you limeys) into a press or two, or maybe just a 50 foot length of hardened steel chain they happened to have with them in their backpack for no particular reason, into a fully running press, i mean that might cause problems and i would hate for something like that to happen.
but that equipment is not cheap.

Modern Samaritans
by gitasatsangha inno, this isnt a metaphorical note.
i was reading up on samaritans and it turns out there are still real samaritans living to this day.
its interesting in that the follow the torah only, and so are very much like one would imagine primative yahwism to have been like.

But that equipment is not cheap. How do they maintain it, cause I know they are cheapskates, and I worked in a press as a teenager. It was hard work and the machines needed constant care.

CURRENT CO?s refresher course studies ?REVELATION CLIMAX? book!.!.!.!
by yesidid inalso used were the daniel book, the question box from the kingdom ministry from 1972 till now, subjects from the insight volumes and a lot of watchtower articles.
i could hardly believe they would have nerve to bring out the revelation climax book.
but as i thought about it more i wondered if they (gb), in their delusional state, somehow think it supports their claim to power.

Maybe rethinking the UN?
Maybe they are going to allow everyone to read Revelation again and help them decide that Revelation is a just a wierd bunch of psilocybin trip-reports that make no sense individually and make even less sence as a whole. Fear and Loathing in Patmos.

They've brough it out plenty of times before. They will again, even if in a slightly different package. If you think of it as just another revision of "The Finished Mystery" its the most holy book of the Witneses religion. It's their Bible, their Talmud, their Q'uran, their Kitaub al'Iquan, their Tipitaka, their Rig Veda, their Book of the Dead, their Fama Fraternatis, their Book of Mormon, their Avesta, their Al-Ginza, their Age of Reason, their Urania Book, their Illiad, stop me please ok I am out of books. Anway its really important to the Society. They draw their power primarilly be being of a special class of people which is clearly defined in the Revelation: It's Kleenex-Destroying Climax At Hand! book.

for fun I google'd the word antitypical, wondering who else would use this odd choice of word (when archetype sounds better). Well well well: 2nd link was the Bible Students. He he.. apples don't fall far from the tree.

"Oh, and contributions will be appreciated for this project..." I wonder what moron will donate money to help the Society have a moving sale to sell its multimillion dollar building.

Where did you draw the line?
by JH inwith the promise that a few of those who saw 1914 would also see the end of this system of things, where did you draw the line, and say the 1914 generation has passed?.
naturally some born in 1914 are still alive, but not many.
does this mean that the 1914 generation as taught by the witnesses is still plausible?

I had started to doubt it in the early nineties. I read a newsweek article about the JWs and the Generation problem around that time, which was about a year or so before the next round of "New Light" on parousia, but I didn't really believe it anymore by then. I jsut kept my opinions to myself.

Charles T Russell -a freemason and the connection to the illuminati...
by dolphman inok, i'm not one for conspiracy theories but lately i've uncovered some interesting facts that i think warrant some attention.. first of all, russell was a freemason.
all the early watchtower and books he authored have freemason symbology and art throughout them.
not a big deal i thought, until i read more about freemasons and the so-called "illuminati", a group of 13 families that supposedly control the world.. supposedly these 13 families, such as the duponts, mcdonalds, kennedys, .

Kenneson,
If CTR had been in Rite of Memphis-Misraim or the CoMasons (Le Droid Humain) at that time, he would not have been on any Grand Lodge membership list, is this correct?
