  most meetings i went to, children were brought to the washrooms in the back to be disciplined.

  often i could hear a child yell or cry due to the spanking given by the parent.

  people in the hall would have that look on their face meaning that it was alright to discipline a child by spanking him.

  now that it's the weekend and i've got the week behind me and i'm a little more relaxed i'm going to go ahead and lay it on y'all if you don't mind.

  but if they want to make tech pay then they need to become tech's and do the work.

  Hopefully things will be better there now that that troublemaker is gone. A person on pills like that is just not themself.

  Wish I knew a good front-end guy. This last week the engine broke all three motor mounts and landed on the right axle of my car, six inches off center. Good Gravy, I never heard of anything like that! I dont mind the cost of fixing up my baby so much, but front in work is pretty particular and it helps to have someone who knows what they are doing. You guys deserve to get paid well.

  but it seems that mildness is lacking in the "true congregation" mostly likely among the elders and between the elders and cos.. comments you wont hear at the 5-11-03 wt study.

  KM Question Box May 2003

  the may 2003 question box in the km has a little piece which demonstrates how the wt feels about the wishes of non-jw's.. when witnessing by telephone, what should we do if a person requests that jehovah's witnesses not call again?.

  the wishes of the person should be respected.

  a dated note with the name of the person should be placed in the territory envelope so that publishers will avoid calling that number in the future.

  (AP) President Bush on Tuesday signed legislation creating a national "do-not-call" list intended to help consumers block unwanted telemarketing calls.

  The bill allows the Federal Trade Commission to collect fees from telemarketers to fund the registry, which will cost about $16 million in its first year. The do-not-call program should begin operation by summer.

  Telemarketers say the registry will devastate their business. The Direct Marketing Association, an industry group, filed a lawsuit against the FTC last month on grounds the registry unlawfully restricts free speech.

  Consumer groups and many lawmakers say the registry has overwhelming support from a public that is fed up with unwanted telemarketing calls.

  Consumers could enroll in the free service via the Internet or a toll-free number. Telemarketers would have to check the list every three months to find out who does not want to be called. Those who call listed people could be fined up to $11,000 for each violation.

  Charities, surveys and calls on behalf of politicians would be exempt.

  The FTC has limited authority to police telemarketing calls from certain industries, including airlines, banks and telephone companies. The Federal Communications Commission, which oversees calls made by those industries, has been working with the FTC and is considering adding its clout to the program.

  So do the Witnesses get out on a loophole? Witnesses are not a charity.

  Did You Know That You Could Be Disfellowshipped For French Kissing?

  a number of years ago, a body of elders discussed the matter of "french kissing".

  they came to the conclusion that this practice of "french kissing" was a disfellowshipping offense on the grounds of "engaging in loose conduct".

  one young couple were judicially reproved for their "sin" and the elders felt that since the matter was not widely known, that they would be "privately reproved".

  i always thought this was ridiculous, and that if anyone suffered from anything, men suffered from womb envy.. tim has challenged me to ask women; i don't know if he's teasing or not, but he says i will absolutely find women have penis envy.

  i say no frigging way.. please offer opinions both ways.

  well i was discussing to a friend about legalizing "it" and he said it's not possible.

  then i proceeded to tell him how it could be, here's how it could be.

  first the government would award contracts to growers so it could be grown.
