I lost my baby
by kelpie ini come to you with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes.
tuesday 27th may 2003 at 12.30 am, i misscarried my first baby.
i was 9 weeks pregnant.

Name Things That You Can't Do If You Are A Witness
by minimus inthere are so many things that you can't do if you are one of jehovah's witnesses.
for example, you can't salute the flag or stand for the national anthem.
can you think of different things you can't do if you're a witness??

can't play chess (wait..they fixed that one)
can't have large unsupervised gatherings
can't listen to rap
can't listen to "death metal"
can't publically disagree with the "society"
can't give blood
can't receive (whole) blood transfusions
can't go to college (unless it's with a view of furthering your ministry)
can't date "worldly" people
can't remarry after a divorce unless adultry was involved
can't date without a view towards marriage
can't pray TO Jesus
can't sue another witness
can't believe in evolution
can't stop going door to door and remain in good standing
can't go to another church (even for a visit)
can't sing non song-book religious songs
well thats just a few i thought of off the cuff.

what do you guys think about these questions?.

many did go back for a while because of 9/11.

I felt that the society would use the day to capitolize on human suffering, and I was right. It certainly didn't make me want to go back to the JWs. Instead I went and donated blood that week.

If you decided to try a church, which one would you try?and why?
by LyinEyes ini have been thinking of doing something i have wanted to for along time, just to see, that is go to a church.
i guess i am a little afraid , or nervous , more than anything, but i feel i ready to venture out there and see what it is about,,,,,,,,,,,lol, i might not stay , i just want to try it.. i just want to give it a chance and right now i have no reason why i shouldnt if i go in with my eyes open.
i dont know what religion to start with,,,,,,,,, i figure this may be a journey on finding what feels right to me, or it could end up i stay home and do my own worship , who knows.. i know there are many christains on this board and i would be interested in hearing why you choose the faith you did, if it is methodist, catholic, baptist, or other mainstream ones.. i am also interested in other forms of religion some have choosen, and why?

what i dont understand is why she did it.
why she was only charged with child endangerment and not attempted murder?

Sheila I want to apologise to everyone in the world for whatever it was that I said. It was bad and rude and thouroughly reprehensible and please don't remind me because I didn't really mean it and I do come from an unhappy home.
The truth was that I didnt believe this story to be true. I thought it was soem sick joke. I was angry and upset. Now I reailze it was true!
I found the evidence to prove it!
