Do you get speeding tickets often, or get away with alot of traffic tickets
by JH in.
i didn't get a ticket in over 15 years, although i drive alot.. i always wear my seatbelts, never go more than 10 to 15 mph over the speed limit, and make decent stops, not dead stops, but decent ones..... here in quebec, if ya do a lousy stop, but that i mean if you don't completely stop, they call tha an american stop here.

a little tip: if you ever get a speeding ticket, or a ticket that involves points, when you pay it you should send your payment + a dollor or two (at least in us). that confuses the computer and i am told that it stays open and you never get the points counted against you. from one speeder to the others.

Cow dung mushrooms? Anyone heard of this?
by breeze ini played golf with a guy on friday that said a fad in the 80's was a mushroom that only grew in cow dung?.
was he pulling my leg?
he said it sent you on a lsd type trip.. i told him i would not put anything in my mouth that came from any dung, maybe use it as a topical solution, but not orally.. breeze

FASCINATING "ARGUMENT" on Raymond Franz
by Terry in--buckaroo 14:56, 10 november 2005 (utc) your response to the original post was that this doesn't read like "a fair and unbiased representation of the facts.
do you have a better, more accurate version of the story?
"tommstein 09:04, 14 november 2005 (utc) i don't need to have a, "more accurate version of the story," to tell when an individual's opinion is being presented as fact.

What is your town or area's claim to fame?
by free2beme inevery where you live, the local area has something about it that is either famous for something good or something bad.
as an example, you go to one town and it may have the historial site of a famous war battle.
you go to another an it might be the place something was invented, or the birthplace of someone famous.

What is the ONE word that describes you best?
by In Between inwas thinking about this today while heading' down the road and thought it might be a fun topic.
if you break it down to the simplest degree, and i'm not necessarily talking about 'qualities' here ... but what one word, noun, adverb or adjective would you say describes you best?
for me: passion
