its been a long time since i have been this enraged at the evilness and shameless exploitation by the jws.

i just got back from the meeting (dont ask) and sat through the km article laying out plans to mass convert nursing homes all over the world.

i am not going to labor the obvious ethical travesty of this plan but i will say that it constitutes a major public health risk.

The response to this attack must be swift and just as massive in scope as the jws are mounting. I know this is the wrong site to go on to find people who want to leave their homes or lift a finger over anything but we need to organize, alert thepress contact our congressmen... We cant let this happen. YOU have a moral obligation to do something damnit! Lets move on this. I will be contacting nursing homes in Georgia tommorrow. I seriously have no faith in jwners to help but shit, I have to start somewhere.

they have basically replaced my activity on jwn and watching kelly and michael in the morning.

yes the act of 1924 granted u.s citizenship to those native .

americans who were not already u.s. citizens.. prior to the passage of the indian citizens act of 1924, nearly .

It did seem like a lot of jws did Amway, Rexall and Pre paid Legal as businesses. I always hated people in these businesses. They never shut up about it. Its all they ever talk about and its so boring. Any multi level marketing scheme (pyramid scheme) rubs me the wrong way.

a congregation of 110+ publishers will be contributing only $200 a month to the society in the new kingdom hall construction arrangement.

that's less than $2 a publisher!

You couldnt be more wrong. The society is raking it in big time. Congos are sending crazy amounts and pledging So much more than they ever have beforr. Watch mike and kims video survey from several congregations around the us. This is going to make the wt one of the richest churches in the world. They are going to be unstoppable. They mau surpass the mormons in wealth and members in a few years. Its just wishful thinking that the wt is going to fall. There is just no sign of that. A member here and there leaves and the exjw goes cheering. But every congregation I visit has all the same members I remember from 20 years ago, 30 even. They are all there still making the same comments and going out in service. I just dont see what people are talking about when they say the wt is receding. No they are growing like always and no revolution will ever happen in their ranks. They have a full proof system. America will fall before they do. Sad but true.

An Anti-Witnessing Campaign, Please Join Me!

in the past few weeks, the shunning issue has become a very personal one for me, and i have begun to realize that it is not just enough for me and my family to fade out.

after some recent events, i am motivated to start some anti-watchtower activism of my own.. i, like many others, have hoped that there would be a scandal of epic proportions within the organization, something that would wake others up and trigger a mass exodus.. while i am still hopeful that this may happen, it seems that the organization is too good at damage control, and heightening the paranoia surrounding apostates.. but what if the ex-witness community tried a different approach?.

what if, to borrow a hockey term, a sort of shut out situation was created?.

DINOSAURS - INFECTION AND INJURY

i've been dying to ask this question for years:.

jws love to say they are not young earth creationists.

surely, then, they must accept that dinosaurs lived long before humans and original sin.

I dont see that anyone mentioned the society belief from the live forever book that dinosaurs' purpose on earth was to pack down all the loose soil since the dinosaurs were so heavy and had such large feet. Not sure about the reference actually. But I heard this from every jw I ever spoke with on the topic so I wonder why no one mentioned it on this thread. Of course that doesnt explain why we had flying creatures but: to keep ecological balance, provide food for land animals, trim the trees that were too tall for land animals to reach and to move rocks and boulders around from high mountain places to lower areas like giant C-17 cargo planes or flying cranes. In fact this is where the name for cranescame from....
