on a thread it was asked how we chose our screen name.

mine is from the book george orwell's, 1984. .

'winston smith' is the protagonist who big brother tries to crush.. the book, along with george orwell's animal farm, are required reading imo for any jw/x-jw.. actually, the book is a great insight into what can happen when individuals surrender their freedom to any high control group.. .

If being nude counts then I get to claim going to Kalidescope fest in Canada a few years back to, dancing naked in front of many, in front of a fire pit! Told my mum that I had gotten sun burned, never mentioned it was from naked skin close to the fire! LOL

i just wanted to post to say thanks to those who reached out to me when i posted about the difficulty with my sons.

it has been a rough little while, what with my son having problems at school, and my mother in law just had surgery and i have been sick.. so to those who messaged me, thanks so much!

i was unable to respond to them through the message system, but it meant alot to me that you reached out to me.
