9. Sex actually relieves headaches. A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.
Okay, I'm sure a lot of guys will want to hold on to that fact...
sex is a beauty treatment.
scientific tests find that when .

seriously, if i could get intelligent replies to this thread, rather than hyperactive fulminations, that would be much preferred.. my question is, how do you feel about the decriminalization of recreational drugs?
whatever you feel about the morality of using drugs, and taking as fact that the abuse of drugs is harmful, we're currently spending billions of dollars a year in a losing war on drugs, and in the process creating a whole criminal substructure that thrives on selling smuggled goods.. so here are my suggestions.. 1. allow the sale of recreational drugs to adults, exclusively at licensed and regulated establishments (along the lines of liquor stores).. 2. require that all drugs be carefully labeled with the exact amounts of all active ingredients, as well as a comprehensive list of all inactive ingredients, just as is required of pharamaceuticals.
Heathen... I've thought about voting for a small party... but then of course, there's the whole concern about fragmenting the anti-Bush vote.
I guess I'll have to wait and see if the Dems nominate someone I can live with. (Preferably Howard Dean.) If not, then I'll probably choose a small-party candidate to vote for.
What sucks is that I live in a heavily Republican state. So as far as the electoral college goes, my vote counts for exactly zero. (Yeah, I know, a single vote doesn't matter anyway... but I mean, even theoretically.)
well everyone, here is the scoop with the boe letters ---.
i spoke with henry s., paralegal with the electronic frontier foundation(eff), about the hosting of the boe letters.
he feels that if it went to court, i could win this under fair use.
Looks like Kent's already on the job!

just a couple of gripes from the theocrappic school and sourvoice meeting last night.. 1. a new elder was announced.
the announcement was phrased as follows: "through the holy spirit and the governing body, brother ---- has been appointed an elder.
" they are really laying it on with the whole authority-of-the-elders thing, huh?.
Euphemism, Are you paraphrasing the elder's announcement?
Nope. I'm quoting, to the best of my memory. I may have changed a preposition or something, but I am 100% certain that "holy spirit" and "governing body" were in there.
And I know, anytime I've heard it before, it was read from a letter... that's why I was so surprised! The elder did have a piece of paper in front of him, and sounded like he was reading, but he didn't read a letter; only that segment that I quoted. So I'm wondering whether the Society has changed the procedure.
i remember flicking through my ex girlfriends copy of the "proclaimers" book back last year, and there was a page with the pictures of the gb at the time (roundabout 1992 with henschel, jaracz et al).
apart from noticing that the gb was totally comprised of males (well, with the wt's almost neanderthalitic view of women, you wouldnt expect a female contingent within the gb would you?
), i noticed that they all seemed to be white, and, judging by some of the names, probably american.
Martin Poetzinger was German. Gerrit Loesch is Austrian. Lloyd Barry was Australian. George Gangas was Greek. Albert Schroeder lived in Britain a long time, but I'm not sure whether he was actually British or not. There've probably been a few others from Europe.
But Sam Herd (appointed a couple of years ago) is still the only non-Caucasian.
go, then, and learn what this means, "i want mercy, and not sacrifice.
matt.
9:13. although the pharisees claimed to believe in the writings of the hebrew .
To me, it's further proof that there are liberals on the GB. Probably not people who are anywhere near the sort of reforms the Society needs to make... but liberals of the sort that Ray Franz was in the 70's.

My state doesn't have party registration, but I plan to vote in the Democratic primaries. I don't have a particular attachment to the Democratic party, however, and would have no problem voting for a candidate of any party, whose views I supported,.
I guess I would say I'm a small-L libertarian... I think the government should butt out of people's personal business as much as possible.
I knew a guy who was a capital-L Libertarian... he believed that the government should only be engaged in activities that required governmental authority, i.e. defense, law enforcement, road-building... no social services or the like. I think that's way too extreme. But I don't know if that's actually the position of the Libertarian party or not.
.
yesterday i was listening to talk radio and someone mebntioned a book, the minute i heard the title, i knew i had to get it for my daughter, well, i used my daughter as an excuse to get the book ... lol
walter the farting dog
But don't you know that 'fart' is a bad word, RR? How can you expose your daughter to such degraded entertainment? You bad, awful man!

I'm still in the borg, otherwise I'd seriously consider hosting the letters.
But I would definitely donate to a defense fund.

Elsewhere... good point. I think that Canada has had problems with cigarette black-marketing as well. OTOH, drugs are currently so expensive due to the risk involved in smuggling them that I suspect that legalized drugs, even with taxes, would still be cheaper than they are now. But I'm no economist, of course.
Unique1... I just might, one of these days... Seriously, it's such a relief to me to be able to vote. I've always been interested in politics, and having to remain neutral as a dub was like pulling teeth.
