He was considered bad association in Biblical times. People in Biblical times were scared to talk to Jesus in case they were expelled from the synagogue. I'm using the New World Translation I can't find the other Bible.

Another Question for Those Against Capital Punishment

which is worse?

a convicted murderer getting executed or a convicted murderer being released after serving the minimum of a life sentence, 15 years?.

btw, before anyone even mentions the low recidivism rate of murderers, you must realize that that is only for those that have been caught.

What kind of world are we living in? A world obsessed with money. As long as you have money you can do anything. So there is no such thing as fair because lawbreakers are getting out of jail because they have a big pocket book. Honestly, we might as well let everyone out of jail now shouldn't we? I don't see the difference. And for your question I believe that no one has the right to take the life of another. Murderers should be allowed to live but not in the streets with everyone else. They should just be sentenced to life in jail never allowed out again. Their punishment "They just lost everything, living with the memory of what they have done & why they are there"

This sort of thing is what annoyed one of my friends who is a Witness. The dates always made her upset. The other day I am able to talk to her with supervision & she started complaining that a brother she knew denied the dates. She started going on & on about how that was horrible to lie about what he knew was true. I wonder what her reaction to this will be……

Saying "goodbye" to a friend

i acomplished a lot, put some final touches on a project, and went to class, excited to see everyone after a long spring break.

Welcome, I am new here too. Yeah I can't believe that peoples own parents will do that to their children. Its just plain cold hearted & sick. My own friends who swore they would be my best friends forever no matter what began to shun me. Why? Because I showed them in the Bible & in their own literature that all people who put faith in Christ were Christians. They immediatly told adults about it because they say they were "worried" about me. They are now no longer allowed to speak to me. Its been a month & I still can't believe it, even though it happened. But Anywho...........

And so I am goin to share this with you ^_^. Galileo was the astronomer that got ridiculed by his church etc. He made this qoute that I really loved & made me somewhat giggle
