Yeah... It's tough... Some kind of "have" to stay, and that's fine. Someone's gotta run the forum, someone's gotta keep it going. But most of us "should" (read: would be a great goal) try to just leave. Blondie, how about trying it for a day? Baby steps, right? Just for like a day or a specified period, not think about JW's/exJW's, etc... Just do something that you love and, if you want, share it with us. But share it with us like we are not JW's or exJW's, we are just people, fellow human beings. Nothing more, nothing less. =)

I love this site, I really do. It has helped thousands upon thousands of people to sort things out, and see TTATT. I would like to propose something to help with the healing process and help people become ex-exJW's, if possible. To have the ability to completely break away from the site for a while and actually enjoy their lives.
So what I propose is a totally JW/exJW free zone in this site. No talking about JW's or exJW's or religion or atheism allowed. What is allowed and encouraged is to talk about personal experiences, happy events, hobbies, new friends, etc.
We all have to learn to re-integrate to society, if that's what's desired, and have our own lives back, rebuild them. Just talk about something that you are passionate about. For example, I love photography, nature and HDR photography in particular.
Anyone like that hobby too? Care to share pics?
What do you think of this idea? An ex-ex-JW place/subforum?

No, it is not false! You can see the name of the website on the link, including, the topic has been heard in various TV shows here, that this pope is saying that the story of Adam and Eve is a fable. I saw this in an interview in a national channel. And please, inform yourselves before attacking!! Jehovah's people are considerate and loving!

Yes, I would, because it undermines the JW position that the autographs would NOT have had the Nomina Sacra. If the Nomina Sacra were in the autographs, as supposedly the picture shows, then they've got absolutely nothing, not even Howard's theory.
So, for the JW's, it is a massive fail...
Of course, this is a children's book, like you said, and it would take someone knowing about the Nomina Sacra and this whole Tetragrammaton debate to even know that the pictures undermines their position.
I just spotted it because I was cleaning up my parent's room and noticed the book and opened the book to that page... then looked at the picture and was like OMG!! Ha!!

You know, you just reminded me of an idea I just had: Get the KIT (Interlinear Greek) and compare the Greek to the NWT in Greek!!
