I lost my baby

" the faithful and discreet slave has now received direct communication from angels making it obvious that this information should have in fact read, "millions now dying will never live.

The WTBTS, upon losing all their $$$ due to lawsuits filed by abuse sufferers, will issue this NEW LIGHT and explanation: Ummm, previously some over-zealous brothers proclaimed that "Millions Now Living Will Never Die." The Faithful and Discreet Slave has now received direct communication from angels making it obvious that this information should have in fact read, "Millions Now Dying Will Never Live." We realizes this changes things for many of you. But, who can blame Jehovah's faithful servants for a mere transposition of a couple of words? In any case, in view of this new light, we will be ceasing operations immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience.

she was extremely helpful, encouraging me to stand up to the elders who were coming to talk to me about my meeting attendance, and my lack of field service reports.

My Dad also had "control issues". He had a plethora of tactics and would quickly move down the list when his manipulation didn't get him the results he wanted (i.e. my doing exactly what he wanted me to do). He would even do the old "I'm old and sick" routine. Here's how it turned out (this should give you hope): I finally told him in no uncertain terms that I did not NEED an inheritance from him, I did not CARE if he wanted to be a part of my life, and I WOULD NOT be manipulated by him ever, ever again. I made a vow to myself that I would not be sad if he never spoke to me again - the loss would be his own. We also went for quite awhile without speaking, but I held my ground. He eventually made contact with me again and things have been great ever since. People will control you for as long as you will let them.

Who watched the American Idol sing-off tonight on Fox?

i thought reuben was superb on all 3 of his songs; clay sang the best only on his 3rd song.
just because clay sang a great final few notes on his 3rd song, doesn't mean he deserves to be american idol.. my best friend and i hope reuben wins, but believe clay will get more votes.. earlier today i heard bleach-blond frenchie who got booted off for her topless photos sing on a morning show...she would have blown the competition out of the water!

You guys think you have it bad - - I'm from Raleigh, NC, hometown of Clay Aiken. Not only do I have to suffer through the national coverage, guess what our local news channels have been covering? You guessed it. They even pre-empted GOOD television last week because Clay came home and sang the national anthem at the Durham Bulls game. And to top it all off, the mayor has declared a "Clay Aiken Day" to celebrate our local hero. (gag)
