  a very reputable documentary film producer would like to talk to a woman between 19-25 years old who is taking legal action in order to vindicate child sex crimes perpetrated against her and covered up by the wt society or their elders.

  specifically, the "cover up," as in not reporting the crime to secular authority, should have occurred after 2002 in canada or us.

  The CO's definition of "pony", according to my mom and her pioneer group, is one of the most horrible logical fallacy i have heard lately - a pony is the highest nomination for literature.

  According to him - “The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures” aka JW Bible is the top of the “pony” list used in universities around the world to teach God’s word. The NWT is THE BIBLE used to teach ALL religions the words of Jehovah. “They” (the universities) use “our” Bible to learn “the truth” but they change the meaning of the words to represent the “false religious” teaching taught by the “worldly churches”. The JW Bible is the most prestigious Bible used in ALL THE WORLD because of its precise accuracy of translation to our language today."

  Well, I'm a dad for the first time all over again

  when i found this site i considered myself a fader with family still in the cult.

  i thought that i should limit personal information so that any lurking scumbag wts reps couldn't track me and jeopardize the relationships i walk on eggshells to maintain with my family.

  but something happened last night that caused me to suddenly not give a rats anal orifice what jw's think.. i got called 'daddy'.. my wife and i went through the court system in the early 90's to get her 2nd cousin who was 11 at the time, out of protective services (which was a group home for abused children).

  after a few responses; i will tell you what the circuit overseer told my mom (and the others out in service) the definition of pony is.. i can not find his definition anywhere on the internet or in the dictionary - maybe someone can enlighten me on the definition of "pony".. .

  those of you who have posted here regularly for the past four years have helped me immensely in my recovery from watchtower and have shared with me in my journey.

  you will also know that, after winning my battle with watchtower (save for one daughter who is still stuck fast in the org and shunning the rest of us), i have been fighting an even greater battle these past three years - cancer!.

  District Convention talk on Education

  justitia themis began a topic 'disgusting comment re: education from tacoma 2007 district convention' regarding a talk on education.

  i would like to hear it, can anyone tell me which day and time it was given?

  the convention is in town this weekend (as well as last weekend and next weekend) and i need information on the talk.. i am going to visit my family next week and i want to try to talk to my niece about college.

  I would 'like' to hear the talk - I haven't been in a KH or to an assembly in over 19 yrs - I don't know if i will be able to take much of the 'spiritual food', if anyone has a program with the time and day please let me know.
