  can anyone point me to the thread(s) that have information on the july 4th weekend district assembly?

  i did a search but didn't come up with info or topics of the assembly.. i haven't been on here in a while.

  nor have i read the watchtower and awakes my mom still sends.

  What is a "pony"?

  after a few responses; i will tell you what the circuit overseer told my mom (and the others out in service) the definition of pony is.. i can not find his definition anywhere on the internet or in the dictionary - maybe someone can enlighten me on the definition of "pony".. .

  District Convention talk on Education

  justitia themis began a topic 'disgusting comment re: education from tacoma 2007 district convention' regarding a talk on education.

  i would like to hear it, can anyone tell me which day and time it was given?

  the convention is in town this weekend (as well as last weekend and next weekend) and i need information on the talk.. i am going to visit my family next week and i want to try to talk to my niece about college.

  Rebuilding Katrina Victims Homes in Baytown/Beaumont Tx

  my niece called me last week, as she does every year at this time, to remind me of my sisters anniversary.

  this is the only time she ever calls me, i am a black sheep and she is a pioneer.

  none of them (except possibly her dad will call me an apostate cause ill come back one day) .

  my 16 year old son received a book from his grandfather "messy spirituality".

  the back cover says "i guess i'm not a very good christian" i don't pray enough.

  i don't read my bible enough.

  One Day Assembly - Special Talk

  if it has already been discussed please refer me to the link; i looked but did not see one.. my mom & sister came down to see me and my family for thanksgiving a few days to have turkey and dressing.

  they haven't been down in 3 - 4 years; but due to the new addition to my immediate family - my first grandbaby - they had an excuse to come.

  i called them before they began their trip and mom was tired because they had just returned from a one day assembly in houston and now she had to pack to get ready to leave again and drive the 12 hours to my house.
