i was raised with this belief, that we would never die and actually make it into the "new system".

mu faithful jw aunt still talked about my mother (her sister) and her walking together into the great tribulation--- and never die at all!

she spoke of that 2 days before she passed away.. i believe most witnesses expect to die and then get resurrected.

I know of a elderly witness woman well into her 90s who looks like death but she doggedly hangs onto the belief that SHE IS GOING TO SURVIVE THROUGH ARMAGEDDON!! I seriously believe this will of hers is what is keeping her alive. She is a lifelong witness. Never married. Pioneered since god knows when. This is what has been driving her for decades and decades and she is hanging onto that belief with every fiber of her being.

My Window Cleaner

my window cleaner is a jw and as i am always working when he comes to my house i haven't seen him or spoken to him in years.

the other day i was in my local town and went into a cafe for some lunch.

who is sitting there but my window cleaner and his wife.

What am I missing? You admitted you haven't seen him in years. If I saw a customer I hadn't seen in years I probably wouldn't remember them either. Some of you look for reasons to get butthurt.

at the meeting last night i was approached by an elder and he asked me what my schedule was like for the next week or so.

i told him im not sure ill have to tet back with him and i asked why and he said kindly but in an odd sort of way "for a visit".

my wife and i have not gone out in field service and have been missing meeting left and right mostly due to sickness and family.

i have been suffering from fatigue, burning in my stomach, and i have always had canker sore issues as long as i can remember.

whether it's from stress or not, i can't say, but i might be getting an ulcer.

the burning in my stomach and intestinal puffiness is getting to be be chronic.

Try it for a month and re-evaluate how you feel. Most of the people who call it a quack diet have no experience with it and just regurgitate things they read on the internet.
