  Don't You Just LOVE Borat???

  sacha baron cohen is one of the most gifted comedians that i know of.

  his new movie reviews all give "borat", the movie, rave reviews!!

  I'm not a huge fan, I like more thinking comedians like Bill Hicks and Lewis Black. Borat just kind of strikes me as Yakoff Smirnoff 2K6, with more blue humor. He does alot of cheap heat, most of his jokes that actually get laughs are just a bunch of genitalia jokes.

  could someone please tell me how many different versions of the kingdom melodies are out there?

  i'm only aware of the piano recordings and the orchestra crap.

  what other arrangements (box sets) has the wts released?.

  There are some Midi's out there that some of the "brothers" made on their own to put online. I know there was a recording forever ago with some people from Africa singing, you can dl that on limewire or any other p2p source.

  I remember we were talking about Mash Ups with Kingdom Melodies where I made a pretty good one with Song 23 and Kanye West's "Gold Digga" (the edited version unfortunately) but the Midi and the Piano that I found made it like IMPOSSIBLE to add a good beat to it without having to change it every 2 measures, it's ridiculous. I don't know if the songs are supposed to change time or that the musician's playing the kingdom melodies can't hold a rhythm.... BAH!

  Changing jobs...

  my boss and i were talking today about changing jobs - she said she would have loved to change jobs in her 40's (she's about 60 now) but she said everyone should change jobs about 1/2 way through their lives.. currently i work in the marketing department of a whitewater rafting outfitter in pennsylvania - and i think if i changed jobs it would be to become a writer.. so my question is what job would you like to change too and what do you currently do?.

  Right now I'm an office worker, mostly keying work but skilled keying work because of the programs we use at an outsource company.

  I'm moving in January to try and get signed as a pro wrestler, after I give that a shot I have no ideas, but I'm not down with returning to an office.

  just curious if there was a "demon-possessed" person in the hall, what is the guideline that the elders would have to follow through the society?

  would they have to give up power to a catholic priest who might have expirience with this, or since they are the only "true" religion would they try to handle it on their own.

  i'm just curious as to what would happen, it's a very unique situation that i haven't heard of happening in a witness setting.

  What is your Halloween costume going to be this year?

  i am going to my first ever halloween party this saturday (even though i left dubdom in 2002).

  i am going to be a samurai warrior.. .

  i was going to go as michael jackson but i couldn't find a monkey or a little boy.

  Is there a mask with that? Or, just the outfit?

  I have really long hair, so I have to buy a wig, and then there's the outfit as well. Luckily I'm the same extreme pale white as JD, so I have that going for me.

  How Much $$$ Did You Contribute To The Organization?

  i know of some elders that regularly gave about $500 per month towards the kingdom hall and other watchtower society interests....and you???

  I left when I was 19/20 right about the time you're expected to contribute, so I never contributed anything. God I'm glad there were times I was so broke all I had was flour and water in my house to eat and I would've missed anything I had contributed.
