Forgive me I haven't been on the board in a bit, but what is the current train of thought on the 1914 generation never dying. Is the belief finally dead and they're now picking something else? Last I checked it was a broader sense of the word, like Napolean's generation was like anyone from the 1800's or something. Is it still this way? Anyone from the 20th century will be applicable...lol, now that's broad.

When did you stop growing ?
by frenchbabyface init's seems that people can grow about until they are 25 (unless a sickness still make them grow).
i've stop growing at 12, i'm the same size since then 5'5'.
also they told me that anyway having a baby at 14 would had stop me growing anyway that i should have been taller !

That would be awesome, and I'd totally be up for going to the hall and acting completely nice. Last time I went to the memorial it was kinda like that as all the people I used to hang out with who weren't hypocrites all spoke to me and were trying to convince me how cool it was being a witness, it was kinda hard to compete with me as since I was a witness travelled most of the country and was engaged. But it was kinda cute the way they were trying. It would have to be a group though, even I'm not that strong to go alone, they would think I was interested in coming back. BTW love the avatar "Everybody's got a price". I actually met him at a show like 6 months ago I was on, he was talking about how people say they're saved when they're not saved. He runs a Christian Wrestling Federation and most of the guys in the lockerroom with me were sucking up for work. He asked me my opinion and I said "Boy are you asking the wrong guy, I used to be a Jehovah's Witness" he smiled a bit.

The left behind series,a fresh look at 144,000?

the left behind series of books i have found to be a great read.these are written by dr.tim lahaye and jerryb.jenkins.they are fiction to the point that they have characters and fictional situations.however i cannot help but feel that theyre discription and interpretation of revelation and the 144,000 may be correct.. in their series they feature a rapture of all the faithful saints before any of the other signs(horsemen)start.the writing is fantastic and filled with action and drama.. there are 12 books in the series,all guaranteed to be the best fiction an ex jw could ask for.however, they showcase the 144,000 as being the orthadox jews that convert to christ after the great tribulation has already begun.this was achieved by first 2 witnesses sent by christ to preach at the wailing wall in israel.these 2 spread a message that sounds true in the hearts of hundreds and thousands of orthadox jews that come to listen to them as they are able to kill would be snipers and those trying to do them harm with just a look or fire from their mouths.. is it possible to believe that the 144,000 will be chosen after the beginning of the start of the end?i for one see it as possible.anyway these books are a must read for those who want to relax and enjoy a good story.if they do not make you think then you are an athiest.they discribe (fiction) the anti christ and a group of charachters that know his identity when the rest of the population are unaware.. anyone who has read the series as well please comment on your feelings of 144,000,and if you thought it was a very good read.

I agree, I loved all the prophecy stuff coming true but Jenkins is a hack writer and used cheap heat stuff liberally in his writings. Just so overdone.

I stopped growing at 21, I was like 5'7 and I took a weight training suppliment called HGH. This was in the beginning of when it was introduced, basically it's for a lean muscular look. It didn't work really and I grew 3 inches.

eh, weed is a misdemeanor I believe. If you call the cops saying someone is smoking weed or has weed in their car they don't even respond. They don't really care unless it's TONS of weed. So then fill the car to the brim with weed, then call the cops.

Thanks Aaac, that worked. I got the Three Stooges one and the Last Goodbye, but the initial contact Tom N Jerry and the second judiciary committee meeting the Rude The Bad and The Ugly didn't show up... Unfortunate as those were truly inspiring reads. I loved each and every minute of these, made me laugh out loud. For Poztate for whatever it's worth it is www.disfellowshipped.org and not www.disfellowshipped.com I'm pretty sure that the second is a porn site but I wouldn't know as I can't get into it due to the firewall at my work. Also thanks to POs Son too, I have read that judiciary committee meeting, pretty good one too. Thoroughly enjoyed it. But Anthony Robert's meetings are where it's at!
