Please read "It's Only A Theory" by Ken Miller. Another great tool is www.youtube.com/donexodus2 he has a series explaning what evolution is. First you have to know what evolution is, what the proofs are for evolution before youdismiss it.

Creator or Evolution? Confused...
by Newborn ini don't feel i have to know the truth about how life started or where we're coming from etc, but can't help thinking abt it anyway now and then.
guess it's only natural.. right now i feel really clueless and that i have too little knowledge abt the darwin, big bang theory.... (i was always taught by the dubs that darwin questioned his own theory...but was it really so?)..
i have a close friend who's sure of the evolution but can really the complex and wonderful life and nature come abt by chance (even though he says it's not chance...).

Do you have a good recipe for No Cheese and Meat Pizza.....HELP!
by restrangled ini am trying to cooperate with my son, cooking for his new found diet.. i always make great homemade pizza, but not with out cheese and italian sausage!.
i have tons of veggies, olive oil, the red sauce, and even pesto....but no idea how to make his pizza taste good, and not burn up veggies without cheese over!.
can you help?.

Sure, first off the Sauce has to be alot thicker than normal. So the best bet here is pick up Tomato paste and mix it with whatever spices you like. I usually use a dry-rub then some basil and oregano. From there you have to use vegetables that will stand up to being baked. I would actually suggest baking the vegetables in the oven first while you're preparing the crust.
Some suggestions would be things like Zucchini, Spinach, Artichoke, Eggplant, etc.

If I may comment my piece on the video for WasAnElderOnce since I posted the video in the first place.
Craig probably does place a bit too much of the "evil aura" surrounding the book. I personally feel it's important in this case because if you mention "Theocratic Warfare" to JWs, they'll say "I've never heard of that" or say that "JWs openly lie to people" JWs will say that they under no circumstances lie. This however I think is pretty powerful.
I think what Craig is trying to prove is that JWs have cult properties. Like secret books, Craig wanted to prove there were secret books. The thing here is that the Ministerial Servant seemed surprised about the existence of that specific book. And if the book were simply common knowledge I don't think the elder would've reacted the way he did.
For this video, he was using this as an example of theocratic warfare. The elder lied and wouldn't answer his question. As the video maker said "diversion" was one of the tactics.
I think they're both pretty effective videos, but I'm definetly open to hearing what you feel would be more effective. What do you think would be the be-all-end-all for videos showing the cult property of pyramid knowledge (books made available to you the higher in command you go) and a video showing JWs practicing theocratic warfare.
It would help everyone to have opinions on how to make more effective videos.

mine was that faggy pink "listening to the great teacher" book.
my mother tried to teach both me and the neighbor's worldly kid lessons from that book, and you know how embarrasing it is for a boy to be put straight by a pink book?.

The Live Forever book I wasn't a fan of. I've always been a fast learner, I was taking algebra in middle school, the Young People Ask book annoyed me so much that we stopped studying it mid-way through. I can't stand being talked down to; even as a child if you spoke to me like an adult I would respond much better to whatever message you were giving me. So I really hated that book. Without a doubt though the Evolution book I hated the most because it was just blatent lies. I remember studying this when I was 12 at an elder's house and they did the thing about hybrids not reproducing and I had to speak up with "But as soon as a hybrid does reproduce it's simply re-classified as a species. That's why hybrids don't reproduce." To which the book then cites Donkeys and if I'm recalling correctly states no hybrid has ever reproduced to which I had just studied this in my science class and I got to speak up again "No actually the Red Wolf was a hybrid between the fox and the wolf, it didn't reproduce until the 60's. Now it does. It was a hybrid that reproduces, now it's a species." I also hated the example about the car "This twisted wreck of a car, do you think it will evolve to something else if you leave it long enough." Which is ridiculous given that evolution only applies to living things that reproduce, the idea that the writer of this book couldn't even get a fundemental fact of evolution correct just blows me away that they decided to write a book on the subject. Piss-Poor, is all I can say.
