  Lets just deal with one case. This is possible and it is probable.

  You have a JW with bowel cancer, diagnosed at 84yrs, had cancer for say about 4yrs. The doctors cannot be sure how long. The patient has the tumuor removed, as JW still had a blood transfusion, non-JW family force the issue, the patient lives for a further 12 months. The patient got Df'd.

  Why did the JW die?

  Marvin, give it a rest now, there are too many variables, you cannot do the stats on blood issues, in my veiw none of it is credible I am afraid.

  I haven't read the full 8 pages, I have read the OP. I was in stiches reading the first page. You and cofty make me laugh. So, I thought I would visit for a laugh and also listen to what you have to say.

  Cofty, if Simon doesn't mind her preaching here, then leave her alone. I don't want to visit her website, but I will take a look at her OP's. Christ has called me to drink some water. He has used Simon and Tammy to help me drink it. And I am thirsty, but tap water did not quench my thirst.

  hey to everyone here... so i have never been one for writing much of my feelings down for other people to see.

  this however has become so important to me and i may be able to help someone who dares go looking for answers some place other than the jw.org website.

  first of all i would like to thank anybody and everybody who had the courage enough to write their experience in the organisation.

  That doesn't make sense. If you have the number of JWs being treated and their mortality rate then what does it matter which hopital they are in and where? You are extrapolating things out just the same.

  The fact that this would give you wildly different numbers (maybe not the ones you're wanting?) should make you pause and think.

  Absolutly true Simon, I totally agree. Too many variables, and it all becomes meaningless. In my opinion, some die if they do have a transfusion and some don't, all circumstances are unique, so we can't extrapolate anything. Who care's about hospitals or mortality rates

  I would like to comment, but I have not read all the threads as funny as the nonsense is I would like to give my opinion of the stats.

  As Simon said in a long winded way..................there are too many variables to get a reasonable sample of data to extrapolate any meaningful stats.

  One example of this is...............how do we know if the person would have died anyway with blood?

  Personally any stats like this would never be credible to an experienced analyst, or statistition.

  with the release of the new bible, i can pretty much say that the wt religion is no longer the same religion that i left 17 years ago.

  it's bizarre.

  they have a different bible, a different song book, a different "youth" book, a different "great teacher" book, and the "live forever" book is gone.

  It really is a different religion, and many of the brothers and sisters are so fed up and suffering cognitive dissonance, treating one another badly all so they can impress Jehovah, but really trying to impress 8 men in NY, with their monthly time reports. So sad, I have even heard a CO couple that must have been fed up and the rumour was they were df'd for being apostates.

  i heard a rumour that the uk hq is moving from mill hill in london to a location in essex near chelmsford.

  explanation being that it's closer to the transport networks.

  anyone know anymore?.

  he physically molested me until i was 16 and we moved into a new house where i had a lock on my door.

  Very surprising your dad showed remorse. Obviously your son is an adult now, but did you trust your dad with your son growing up alone because your dad felt remorse. If so what was the outcome, was your son unharmed during his childhood?

  I have heard from my daughter who left WTBTS months ago that bethelites have moved residence already. She didn't tell me how she knew. She lives and works near Mill Hill
