  what do you do when you believe in your heart that your spouse is never going to wake up to the tatt?

  when you're sick of the cherade of pretending you can deal with the spiritual division when you dont think you can anymore.

  when you're convinced that your spouse is so decieved she is lost in a desert and is fine with living by the mirage.

  Hey guys, need some help.

  a few of my buds are hanging out tonight, and i rarely get the oppurtunity to hang with my "worldly" friends.

  really, i'm only able to if my parents aren't around.

  my parents know i don't believe in the truth, and that i'm moving out in around two weeks.

My parents know I don't believe in the truth, and that I'm moving out in around two weeks. I'm really not confident in my current plans of escape. How did you guys manage to get out the house and do things if you were in the truth as a teenager?

  a) "field ministry is not controlled or monitored by the elders, the congregation, or watchtower".

  b) "an individual publisher's field ministry activity, including the time and manner it is carried out, is a personal matter between the publisher and his god.".

  Dinosaurs.

  as a jw i always believed that dinosaurs at one point existed.

  my whole family did, almost all the jws i knew did.

  one time i was out for dinner, and one of the people with us was convinced that they never existed.

  As a JW I always believed that dinosaurs at one point existed. My whole family did, almost all the JWs I knew did. One time I was out for dinner, and one of the people with us was convinced that they never existed. What did you guys believe? Is there anything the WTS puplished on the topic? I don't recall the WTS ever stating they existed, or stating that they didn't. Now that I look back on it, it's a bit strange. What are you thoughts?

  CO Special Meeting with MS & Elders

  when the co visits a cognregation this semester, a special meeting with elders and mss is sceduled tuesday night, right after the normal meeting.

  does anyone know what this meeting is about?

  this special meeting is held at the beginning of the co-week, and is different from the standard meeting with personnel which is held friday evening.

  I'm pretty sure that most of what goes on in those meetings is just how the congregations doing, territory stuff, and new changes in political sorta stuff. My dad's an elder and is pretty transparent. I don't think it's super often that the meetings are about deleting various brothers/sisters or congregation problems, or investigtions.

  An increase in security at this summer's conventions??

  we've heard from friends in two separate congregations in our city that convention security will be tight.. the brothers made announcements this week and reminded everyone to be sure to wear their name badges.

  those that don't may be questioned and have their belongings searched.

  the same will be happen to anyone arriving during the sessions.

  hello there i am new to the faith and have been studying for about a month.

  i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.

  we do about 2 bible studies a week.

  Did other JWs judge you? What for?

  some judged me for going/having gone to university.

  some judged me for being 'too smart.

  ' some judged my non jw brother for being in the army.

  I was only a teenager, but they judged me for my long hair, my liberal opinions, and for listening to metal, lol. They didn't act hostile or anything, they were all still good friends.
