  Nothing wrong with that sermon at all. Nothing wrong with any of the Don't-be-a-dick admonitions in the bible... and so many other books. However, it's all just a collection of human common sense, not "inspired truths" or "wisdom from above"

  Anointed Delusions of Grandeur

  how do the 'anointed' come to the conclusion that they are chosen?

  is it some weird collective delusion of grandeur and how is it manifested in such ones?.

  so last weekend, the jw's ring the bell and my wife answers.

  we live in a heavily spanish neighborhood but don't really speak spanish.

  i thought my wife was quite clear that she is a "sister" to them, but maybe the one in charge of the group didn't get the message.

  Brochures like that are written for the benefit of those who, while inactive, are still mentally locked in. It also provides a warm fuzzy feeling for active one who see this as a gesture from a loving God.
