Ugh!... the spirit of complaint.

in the announcements, in the prayers, in their parts, ad nauseous.. and really...c'mon, now.
Ugh!... the spirit of complaint.

They keep squaking about this because they're a bunch of loons who are bittern because the end hasn't come yet. They have some gull repeating this guano all the time. They act like a bunch of heron addicts. Pay those turkeys no attention. They'll all be eating crow before too long.
ok i've read similar threads to this before, but i just thought i would share a comment made by an aunt.
my aunts bible student died, and due to the families wishes the funeral service was given in another church.
my aunt with a disgusted look on her face when recalling the events to me said "and you know what, they must of only spent about 5 minutes talking about the person, and the rest of it was about the church".
i have had requests to add an article about beards and jehovah's witnesses.
it is interesting that there is virtually no statement that says a witness cannot have a beard, yet universally they do not have beards.
i have scoured quotes from all the threads on jwn, all references to beard on the cd watchtower library, and copies of elders letters that i have.
Great article.
Under the subheading Excessive Control, second quote, I noticed a small typo.
"Therefore, even during leisure time, such as when going out to eat after the program, we should dress as befits ministers who are in the city for the purpose of attending a Christian convention and should not were such clothing as jeans, shorts, or T-shirts." Kingdom Ministry 2007 Apr p.4
Perhaps "wear"?
I've learned so much from your website. Thanks for all your hard work.
a bishop of the apostolic church (grandiose title, isn't it?
) in the cook islands, wants to ban local indians who are hindu's from celebrating their diwali festival.. he claims its blasphemy against the christian god, and that because the cooks islands is a christian country, no other form of worship should be permitted.. gotta love your average christian, don't you?
if they are banned or persecuted, they scream their heads off, but as soon as they control things they want to ban any alternative worship.. cooks bishop condemns diwali celebration as blasphemyupdated 15 november 2013, 14:52 aest.
because the Cooks Islands is a Christian country, no other form of worship should be permitted.
I heard a similar comment by a retired S. Baptist preacher recently. We get together for bible discussions and are careful to respect each other’s differences but he got a little excited about how God Bless America was bending over backward to accommodate Muslims and other non-Christian religions.
"This country was founded by Christians, for Christians!"
We were discussing the book of Daniel, specifically where the three boys were thrown in the fire. Mr. Preacher man said that the command to bow down to that alter was Nebuchadnezzar's version of trying to unite all the various gods in to one harmonious act of worship.
I thought, "huh?"
"And that's what Obama is doing now. He's trying to make Christians accept all these other gods and I'LL NOT STAND FOR IT!"
I thought, "Obama is doing... huh?"
I quickly remembered how rabidly some of these American zealots, especially in the southern states, are as incapable of seeing the difference between God and America as Jehovah's Witnesses are of seeing the difference between the governing body and Jehovah. It's not an argument worth having with a fully indoctrinated drone. I let it drop and tried to steer the conversation back to neutral territory.
I wish I had thought to ask him Tec's question:
So how could there be a 'christian country' other than the one He is coming to establish?
i've been working on this one for a few weeks and it is finally done.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inmzhysxa-o.
here's the description from the youtube video:.
baptism is a risk!

although the speaker is referring to coming out of the closet as gay, here's a good reminder for those fading, as the dynamic is the same (and a point she makes in the video about not comparing the difficulty to others).. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksr4xuu07sc.
adam.

finally, i've found the reason why some men become homosexuals.. the 1976 book "your youth: getting the best of it" explains it here in great detail.... .
From now on I'm eating my hotdogs sideways.
