  a friend of mine is trying the 'slow fade' like i did.

  he is a third generation witness and comes from a prominent family in his circuit.

  his uncle stepped down as an elder because he had doubts and could not serve anymore (although for now he remains a witness in good standing).

  hi to all my fellows "apostates" in all world... especially in e.u.a.

  and uk.. as some of you already know, ex-jw in portugal created a leaflet especialy to send to jw in all the country (individualy or to congregations).

  we must say that it was a sucess from the point of view of the impact originated.

  what if the gb decided that "new light" revealed to them that disfellowshipping was wrong and they would do away with it for current dfd members as well...... .......16 years of my life.

  would i welcome my family back?

  I seriously doubt my mother and sisters would reach out to me. They would be too embarrassed after what they have done.

  this might be my last post.

  i've tried to move on from the jw past but that's really being foolish.

  I've struggle in the friend-making department also. It's not an easy skill to learn later in life. But I HAVE, finally, made a small handful of friends and they are valued. It takes time. It takes going through the anger and coming out better on the other side.
