I'm psyched!
I'm kind of a geek, always loved Star Wars and it gave me a bit of a lady boner.
I have to admit when I heard they were doing another trilogy I had a little nerdgasm.
the first trailer has been released!
true confession - i'm kind of a geek, always loved star wars and it gave me a bit of a lady boner.
anyone who knows the franchise is probably familiar with the character wedge antilles.

all you who partake of heathen and pagan and nationalistic celebrations in the usa-.
whose pants are tight now that you ate all that food for thanksgiving?.
.
I just unbuttoned my pants a little in order to maintain theocratic balance, and then slipped quietly into a three-hour food coma.
i certainly wouldn't.
and if the elders wanted to have a meeting with me, i would respectfully decline.
if the elders wanted to deal with you, would you talk with them?.
Knowing what I know now, having the confidence I now possess, having learned from RAY PUBLISHER (and others) how to record it... I would LOVE to go into a JC meeting.
Oh.... HELL YES!
this made me laugh.. .

Maybe the governing body will come out with some Watchtower approved dance moves.

jehovah's witnesses win community access case.
by jack bouboushian .
Sorry, but I have a problem with tax-payer funded public streets being gated. If you want a gate on your community, PAY FOR THE ROADS YOURSELF.
The WATCHTOWER lawsuit makes a valid point.
ray franz is really encouraging, and his experience really proves how destructive the borg.
just got my hands on combating cult mind control....i gotta admit: its not an easy read like cofc.
i intend to finish, anyone here who has read the book?
You should also consider reading In Search of Christian Freedom where Ray Franz meticulously disassembles many doctrinal issues of the Watchtower organization. It's a monster read. I think he could have used an editor. But I enjoyed that book more than any of them.
a letter has just been read out indicating that effective immediately, witnesses are no longer to use the s-8 slip known as the "house to house" record slip, as well as the s-43 "please follow up" slip (usually used for foreign language people).. the letter stated that this is because of the changes in privacy laws etc that are becoming common in the world today.. i will try and get a copy of the full letter and post it asap.. .
I stopped using those things when I was a kid just because they were not practical for a "seasoned" pioneer who kept meticulous records of his service to God. Not enough room to jot down all relevant data, including my astute observations, keen insights, and discerning spiritual perceptions.
The s-8 was okay for beginners and the spiritually inferior. I required a small 3-ring notebook, properly tabulated according to territory zones, with plenty of refill paper, as my ministry, like Jehovah's chariot, was always on the move and advancing forward in dynamic fashion.
the good news is:.
- studying the watchtower over breakfast.
- putting on a suit and tie.
Grats on the scooter! But wont you feel guilty by missing the meeting? Dont forget to shave!
Thanks.
No!
This scruff is not the result of having forgotten.
But who rents movies these days?
I'm old enough to still do some things the hard way.
Are you an apostate? You seem joyful, but who did you turn on?
I don't remember turning on anyone. I just woke up one day and found out I was an apostate. 7 million JWs can't be wrong... can they?
Dammit that sounds like a GREAT plan! I'm sat in the meeting right now planning the time when I can do the same.
There's life out here. And the air is fresh!
well, no audience contact but i am talking about use of notes.
i always wondered about note taking at conventions and assemblies.
why does this happen?
I tried taking notes but I am a slow writer and it only served to distract me from the spiritual bounty being spread before me. So I opted to partake of the glorious feast rather than scribble on a pad.
Jehovah's loved me for my diligent attention. I know He did.

The good news is:
I WILL NOT BE
- studying the Watchtower over breakfast
- putting on a suit and tie
- sitting in a Kingdom Hall for two hours
- joining anyone in field service later
I WILL BE
- reading forum posts with a cup of hazelnut coffee at my side
- have breakfast at Denny's this morning with my companion
- probably pick up a few items at the grocery while we're out
- take a nap around noon
- clean out a corner in the garage for the new Suzuki scooter I bought yesterday
- read some in a wonderful book I have been enjoying.
- rent a movie from Redbox this evening
- go to bed early
..... and they say apostasy is bad.
