  g'day fellow wine-lovers,.

  we're getting off to a quick start this month in writing about the new month's "wine of the month".

  mrs ozzie and i enjoyed the most delicious vietnamese meal at one of the better restaurants with friends today and for the occasion we selected a merlot.

  What's The Difference Between UK & US?

  i'm only posting this so as to get a buzz from looking forward to our trip to joy & steve's place in october.. i last went to the usa when i was 12 years old and i'm keen to know what differences to expect.

  i know that their service industry is vastly superior to ours, someone told me that restaurant staff are actually helpful over there!.

  umm, driving on the opposite side is going to be strange.

  America : Eat all you can for 4 dollars, huge steak, fries etc.

  UK : Tosos 'shitonastick' Kebab place, 1 kebab 4 pounds.

  The Yanks are leagues ahead when it comes to good food.

  do you think that society is starting to move away from religion?.

  first a texas law banning sodomy was thrown out.then the ten commandments were removed from the rotunda of alabama's judicial building.. this question was asked by the christian science monitor:where does god belong?.

  The first thing that causes hate in this world is religion, it's the source of all evil.

  Mankind has always worshipped God, they are afraid to admit that when you die, you die. In the beginning, man created God !

  Maybe there is a God, maybe there isn't. But I did hear an old tale that it is faith that keeps him alive. The more people that have faith in him, the more he lives. No wait, now i'm just talking rubbish. Waiter !

  I hate bright light... bright artificial light. When somebody puts the light on, I scream at them to turn it off.

  Remember that film called Gremlins ? Gizmo hated bright light. .... Come to think of it, wasn't that guy a bit old to own little pets like that ?
