  the watchtower society is supposed to be without racial prejudice.

  god's channel would be expected to be unlike the world in its ungodly views.

  yet, the watchtower magazine as well as other publications at times spoke of the black race as accursed, uneducated and unable to adequately teach the word thru the publications.

  i just had a really bad day at work.

  apart from what you'd normally expect from a 15 hr shift, tonight vitually everything that could go wrong did.

  when i got home i decided to have a drink(the first since emans barbie!!!

  Holiday booked today...Scared of Flying!

  ok so i booked my holiday up today over the internet, going next monday week 1st september to corfu in greece, anyone been there>?.

  also i'm scared sh@tless about flying.

  What you didnt have to worry when you were a JW

  "the truth will set you free.

  that is what we were always told when learning the wonderful bible truths tm.

  freedom from ancestor worship, worrying about an eternity in hell (well, now you had to worry about getting nuked at a. but never mind), if the world would be destroyed in a nuclear holocaust, etc.. what are some of the things you felt you did not have to worry about when you were in, but do now?.

  I didn't have to worry about a career, the economy, starving kids, etc.

  Everything was so planned out for me, so I thought. Maybe that is why they say ignorance is bliss.

  But there were a whole host of other things to worry about... guilt being one. Now that's gone, party on baby !

  I read the history of Russell, he seemed like a decent guy. His wife was a bit loopy, she suggested that he molested a 10yr old girl while she was in his service. I strongly doubt this, no matter how much we may not like JW's.

  I read enough into him that I think he did his best to live his life the way he thought he should. Besides, his wife was eager to break him, she hated his guts.
