Then I get this reply back: "We should rather look and see how merciful god is because we are so sinful he could have easierly have zapped us.

So you see they are just like the jw's god can no anything and it is right - may low and behold we have sex before marriage - or not do 10 hours field service - or go to another church - then at the end we will all be zapped.......oh unless you are a jw (even if you do 1 hours field service)

ah shame! was looking at Sky news this morning and yes for you guys it is all rain. I am in South Africa, Durban and we are sort of into winter - but the sun is shining and do not have to wear a jacket. Wonderful!

I want to start a website/ministry to help JWs leaving - how and why?

i have plenty of tips on my older site on starting ministries or outreaches.

though today they are now generally sites for public assistance, not personal blogs or opinion or doctrinal sites.

free minds has covered doctrines, news, opinions, and more for 32 years (since 1996 online).

Randy I do not know how I got to Freeminds - not sure - think it was on the ex Jehovhas Witness site - then saw that I can go to Freeminds and JWfacts. It really helped me - my eyes were opne HUGE. I did not have a computer at home - so I spent about 3 hours after work reading and printing out huge amounts of stories / facts etc (i bought my own paper so that I could print and print and print)

After 4 years of talking to my sister she herself is now out!! and I still had some aritcles for her to read - but she went to this site hereself and she could not believe all the facts and stories.

To start a new website - one has to think like a JW who is trying to figure out the truth - but who does not want to go to a web site that has a name of GOD etc in (they are too scared as you know) so tough one! if one is trying to leave the so called truth then those people are still comfortable with calling god Jehovah so I would think it would need to be a site with the name Jehovah somewhere in the heading.

why help! oh please they need help / the young ones have the technology to go to the internet / but it is the old ones like my mom who has no idea - she is in for good and there is no changing her mind!!

Blood transfusion refused by parents of a 6 month old!!

this was in the paper wednesday - in south africa - durban.

which is quite surprising as our papers usually do not carry stories like this.. this is a prem baby - now 6 months.

the dr's had to obtain a high court order to allow the procedure.. the baby had to have a blood transfusion as it could not absorb the mother's milk and supplements cannot be used because of his tiny body.. the parents refused to give their consent and was on life support so the dr submitted to the court that this was an infringement on the.

Yep the parents are so happy that the decision was taken out of their hands - so now they have their baby - healthy and well and the Dr's are to blame!

They will be on the platform soon - giving their experience. What strong witnessess of jah!

Oh cold can one be!! what a shame - shame on their god jah and shame on all the jw's! they should read their own bible -as they were about to sacrifice their child to baal.

Just read in todays newspaper in Durban - he left his stafff monies as well: 9 people R50 000 each. They were so surprised: from his cook to his chauffeur.

His ex Winnie did not get anything.

His 4 Children: +/- R3.3 million each.

His 18 Grandchildren: 4 he left: R3.3 million: the rest R100 000

His wife (Graca'd 2 children) R3 million and from her previous marriage: 6 children: R100 000

Then he had property / left to Schools / Trusts / and some to the ANC to further reconciliation.
