  Not accepting your 'opinion' of something you can not proov is hate speech? Are you sure what you are saying?

  Sorry I just don't believe people are born that way. In fact I accept none of these ideas at all. No amount of insults or forum bullying will change my view.

  Sure you and everyone has full rights to do as they wish with their lives and also believe what they choose too. This does not mean that I also have to accept these views at all not be labled a hater or a homophobic because I do not.

  a united nations human rights committee has slammed the vatican for adopting policies allowing priests to rape and molest tens of thousands of children.. the un committee on the rights of the child denounced in a report on wednesday the holy see for adopting policies that allow the clergy to abuse children with impunity.. "the committee is gravely concerned that the holy see has not acknowledged the extent of the crimes committed, has not taken the necessary measures to address cases of child sexual abuse and to protect children, and has adopted policies and practices which have led to the continuation of the abuse by and the impunity of the perpetrators," said the un committee.. .

  in addition, the un committee urged the vatican to release documents about the pedophiles and churchmen instead of concealing them.. it also urged the holy see to "immediately remove all known and suspected child sexual abusers from assignment and refer the matter to the relevant law enforcement authorities for investigation and prosecution purposes.".

  "The United Nations demanded that the Vatican ”immediately remove” all clergy who are known or suspected child abusers and turn them over to civil authorities, in an unprecedented and scathing report on Wednesday.

  The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child said church officials had imposed a “code of silence” on clerics to prevent them reporting attacks to police, and moved abusers from parish to parish “in an attempt to cover up such crimes”.

  It said the Holy See must hand over an archive of evidence about the abuse of tens of thousands of children, and take measures to prevent a repeat of cases such as the scandal of Ireland’s Magdalene laundries, where girls were forced to work in church-run institutions."

  DJS: You call them anti-gay. I call them objective. It's actually YOU that's being anti-objective and again you too see anything even objective as anti-gay. Get over your dam self will you.

  What I think does not even matter. It's also none of your business. I like to stand back and look at the whole issue not that I need your approval or blessing to do so.

  Why are there only two options or positions in this issue? Why if a person is not pro-gay it means that they have to be anti-gay?. Is your world so black and white? When did this ever become a two party system?

  That sounds like witness thinking.. "if your not for us then you must be a venemous hating apostate son of Satan".

I can't say more without revealing too much and I shan't do so merely to please your unbalanced ego.. but I assure you I know more about gay people and gay issues than you ever will. Saying you once met a gay person in a bar really does not qualify you for anything.

  I'll leave it at that.

  At no point in any of these posts have I even once expressed my own personal opinion on this subject. All I did was post a short movie and the viewpoint of others that I found interesting. Nothing more. These are not my beliefs but your too blinded by your own need to attack just about anyone to have the intelligence and detachment or objectivity to even see that.

  Even if I did it would not matter. If I expressed that I preferred oranges to bananas would you call me bananaphobic? Yes you probably would.

  What on earth makes you think my comment about lifestyle refers in anyway to your sexuality?

  You jump to so many reckless assumptions I'd swear you have springs in your shoes. Again a very revealing action on your part. Do you have sex on the brain? Your quite out of control.

  Such an embarrassing attitude, unjustified anger and vehemence reveals so much more about you than anything I have posted here does about me.

  NEED Help before Monday

  i noticed in a thread a day or 2 ago that someone mentioned a wt dated back in 1981 i believe where it stated that the policy of the jw's were that if anyone even thought a doubt about the jw's that they were infact apostates!!!

  i downloaded the article in the 1980 8/1 pp17-22 and that was not the article.

  can't find the thread, help anyone please!!!!!

  PROTECTING THE FLOCK

  A major responsibility of an overseer as he 'shepherds the flock of God in his care" is to protect it from dangers. (Acts 20:28) Acts 20:29,30 indicates that one of those dangers can be men who apostatize. There is a fine study of this subject in the August 1, 1980, Watchtower. All of you want to get thoroughly familiar with the contents of the study articles. Encourage all of the elders and ministerial servants, especially, to do likewise. Include key points in your "Continue in the Things You Have Learned" program.

  Help the elders discern between one who is a trouble-making apostate and a Christian who becomes weak in faith and has doubts. (2 Peter 2; Jude 22, 23) The former one should be dealt with decisively after extended efforts put forth to readjust him. (2 John 7-10) On the other hand, one weak should be patiently and lovingly assisted to get the accurate knowledge solidify his faith.

  Keep in mind that to be disfellowshiped, an apostate does not have to be a promoter of apostate views. As mentioned in paragraph two, page 17 of the August 1, 1980, Watchtower, "The word 'apostasy' comes from a Greek term that means 'a standing away from,' 'a falling away, defection,' 'rebellion, abandonment. Therefore, if a baptized Christian abandons the teachings of Jehovah, as presented by the faithful and discreet slave, and persists in believing other doctrine despite Scriptural reproof, then he is apostatizing. Extended, kindly efforts should be put forth to readjust his thinking. However, if, after such extended efforts have been put forth to readjust his thinking, he continues to believe the apostate ideas and rejects what he has been provided through the 'slave class, then appropriate judicial action should be taken.

  This is not to say that you or the elders should go on 'witch hunts,' as it were, inquiring into the personal beliefs of your brothers. Rather, if something reasonably substantial comes to the attention of the elders along this line, it would be appropriate to make a kindly, discreet inquiry so as to protect the flock. We cannot overemphasize the need to be cautious, discreet and kindly as such situations are dealt with.?James 1:19, 20. . . . "

  i commented about how the 2008 yearbook gives the story of a girl who is on estonia idol and gives up an opportunity to progress to further rounds because she has a talk on the theocratic ministry school.

  when jws started to study with her, that is the day the music died.. .

  while watching the grammys, though most was trash the music from the 70s was great, i thought, what if paul mccartney's parents studied with jws and paul didn't become a musician.

  Would you belive that I have never heard a Justin Bieber song? Ever! I don't own a TV or a radio.

  I suspect that I have been spared at awful lot of auditory suffering by simply removing these two items from my home and life about 10 years ago.
