I was told I was the one ALL the younger kids looked up to. What a load of crap. All the adult in the congregation thought I was great!! Elders daughter, reg. auxillary pioneer, volunteer for impromtu talks and all that jazz. The kids knew me as a potty mouth teenager just like themselves who dated the worldly boys at school. I was the queen of the double life! All the other kids were too though, no big suprize.

It isn't just you. I have asked myself the same thing. When I asked my husband, he just said "Dear I think your religion has let you down." I still believe in god, but I don't understand why he doesn't do anything when his creation are seriously hurt. I don't have the answer. I wish I did, but he is our only hope, so I just keep hoping he will do something soon.

Kingdom Hall Spankings
by JH inmost meetings i went to, children were brought to the washrooms in the back to be disciplined.
often i could hear a child yell or cry due to the spanking given by the parent.
people in the hall would have that look on their face meaning that it was alright to discipline a child by spanking him.

Oh, yeah, me too. Always in the bathroom, crying the entire way. And if I didn't stop screaming in the bathroom my mom would threaten to keep spanking me. I thought it was normal at the time, but I don't see many other people doing it now that I am older. Most of the moms take the kids who are acting up in the restroom sitting area to play so they won't disturb others.

I stumped my dub mom
by SpiceItUp inso last night me and my mother had a long 2 hour conversation on all sorts of stuff...... mainly......truth, faith, the bible and apostacy.
i asked her if the bible could be used without any other book.
she of coarse said yes.

I WENT TO THE MEETING LAST NIGHT!!
by Mary inwell, we had the co visit last night and some friends "encouraged" me to go.
i really didn't feel like it, but i wanted to see if there was any "new light" on the pedophile problem, so i went.
not a word mentioned about any internal problems; however, the borg now apparently wants us to dupe people into having a bible study without even knowing it.

Despite what the entire JW theory's are the bible still says Those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out of thier graves. (sorry for the lack of actual quote, I am at work without a bible). I hope to see my friends and family there, but only god can read hearts and that will be his decision. Who can predict?

by Joyzabel ini was outraged when i read what a friend of ours was given him by 2 jws yesterday when he asked them the question about the child molestation issue.
i can't belive the jws have the guts to pass this stuff out.
the people we were with at lunch today all looked at it and was replused at the wt's reply.. what do you think?.

If the accused denies the charge, the two elders may arrange for him and the victim to restate their position in each other's presence, with elders also there.
GOD can you imagine how traumatic that would be for the child?!!!!! Having to see that person again. Even in court the judge will take the child aside to speak to them about the abuse to save them from further trauma.
