I feel weird sharing this but figure it might help me to get some feedback
by SheilaM inwe had a wonderful time at ants graduation but of course my dysfunctional (no not jws just dyfunctional )sis the one i speak to, had to call to tell my mother who had progressed alzheimers, lymphoma and has had a stroke had broke her hip and that during or after surgery she had a major heart attack.
for my i am perplexed as to why this isn't a blessing, for two years i mourned the loss of my mother.
she has had fewer and fewer lucid moments the last year or so.

New here, got a question
by kj ini just wanted to let you know how much i have enjoyed reading your posts.
i am not and have never been a jw, but my husband and i both have a lot of family who are.
my mother was sucked into it in 1999. i have a question, is it true that jws are forbidden to set foot in any church other than the kingdom hall?

40 Years Ago Today
by RAYZORBLADE inon september 8, 1963 my sister, carmen elizabeth was born.. she was, and would remain the only girl in our family.
she was so adorable, brown haired, brown eyed and had a great smile.
she was less than a year younger than i, and we were like the 'best of pals' as kids.. she'd allow me to put beans in her ears, or get her to put peas in her nose or carrots on top of her teeth, and make me laugh.. she was born in cape breton, nova scotia.
