i wanted to thank everyone who helped make this great event happen!

everyone really stepped up and helped enormously... if it were not for all of you the apasta-crawfest would not have been anywhere as great.

several people approached me discreetly to provide monetary support, which is greatly appreciated.

hi all - well i got here a few hours ago.

the flight started off well, but i got over greenland and suddenly got very ill - high temperature, and nausea.

i called the flight attendants who moved to the back and in the process i fainted.

you call this humid? oh child...come back in July/August (and I DID mention that possibility)

and that "little storm" put 300,000 people without power last night (me included)

I just got home and went through high water to get home...AND got hailed on to boot! Dashing from the car to my front door...soaked to the skin.

Tomorrow will be better...but it really will be humid with the ground soaked...yep...yep...yep

i'm a bit of a newbie here i suppose, but i've been fascinated by the photo threads that pop up now and then - notably leo's, purps and sparks.

so i thought i'd do my bit for posterity and bring you some pics from the uk that i've taken over the last few years, if that's all right with you that is!.
