Happy New Year, dear.
Lisa
i had my birthday party/new year's day party tonight.
i have hundreds of friends, or so i thought.
how many show up?
oh my beautiful Country Girl (((((CG)))))
You have such a loving heart and a generous spirit. I suspect it's hard for people to realize that they are selfish in taking so much and not returning the love. I am so sorry that your birthday wasn't what you had hoped it would be. I can relate as I spent my 50th birthday alone.
Dear heart, you have to take care of yourself first and foremost. You weren't brought into this world to raise every livin' soul on it. Take care of you first and the rest will fall into place.
I wish I could have been there for your party. What a grand time we would have.
(((CG)))
love you
Lisa

Happy New Year!!

another polar air day, and way too much grey.
i'm tired of being inside and my son is sick again with a virus, by the time i leave to workout it's dark outside and even colder than earlier....ooooohhhhh i just want to stay under my covers until spring..... anyone else out there surviving this cold???
welcome to the prairies of canada...only place where you can have a 40 degree temp swing with in 36 hrs!!
ummm...no. We have that in North Texas. Monday's temp was in the 70s. Tuesday's temp in the 60s. Wednesday down in the teens overnight.
Gawd bless Texas.
Lisa
hey, y'all!.
i'm driving down to texas right after christmas and will arrive in the greater dallas area on the 27th and will be staying until the 3rd of january.
i'd like to get to see some of you wonderful jwd texans.
I wish you were here, too.
Lisa
which one would you choose to keep if you had to get rid of one?.
hmmm, think about it first (life without little britian & 3 none blondes, does that sound appealing to you?).
brummie
WOOHOO!!
C'mere kitty...
Lisa
The average for this time of year is 55F - 35F. This is just plain ridiculous. Monday they're predicting temps in the 60s. oh good grief...

.
never in my life have i ever seen it snow around christmas time where i live.
it's just a little and it will likely only collect a bit on the grass... but if we're lucky we will get to have a (sorta) white christmas morning!
That they do. Imagine what they would do if they saw snow like in the pictures the others have posted.
