did you ever have a lousy microphone handler stick that darn microphone either too close or too far from your mouth?.
how about when you had to read something in the bible or read your watchtower and the microphone was blocking your sight and you couldn't see what you had to read.. what other problems did you encounter with the mics?.
I was told not to bother trying to answer at the meetings until I spoke louder as the microphone controller could not raise the volume up enough for people to hear me.

so says the latest awake or was it wt.. mentioning the case of the demon possessed boy in matthew ????.
hearing voices isn't neccessary demon possession!
I know a witness who had seizures brought on by post traumatic stress combined with head injury. The elders counseled her parents to get rid of all possessions that were not from other witnesses (especially from non-witness family members that were into unscriptural practices). Funny thing is the parents kept a car that was given to them by the same non-witness family member... The seizures did not go away even after all her “demonized” possessions were removed... perhaps it was the car after all! Too bad they don't give any thought to how this makes someone who has a medical condition feel.
i cannot believe that i am pregnant and finally going to have a baby of my own!!!!!!

Have a happy & healthy 9 months!
The journal is a great idea...friends of mine continued a video journal through there babies life - they videotaped him at birth and then now do about a 5 minutes segment each birthday - it is an amazing video to watch.
to me forgiving is not forgetting.
forgiving allows me to go on with my life.
but forgetting is something different.
I agree with Big Tex
Always found it amazing the societies push "forgive and forget" - yet I found it amazing that if one apologized/repented to elders it was enough...even if they never corrected wrongdoing or apologized to the person they had hurt/wronged.
i'm so excited i could burst!
my sibling and i have been reunited, not only irl .
please give breal a much deserved hearty welcome y'all!
thanks again!
SPAZ - you is making me laugh...
i finally got the courage to post on another thread - so figured i would introduce myself.
as i mentioned in other thread i have been df'd for about 9-10 yrs.
i was raised in the "truth" - although neither of my parents were never really stellar examples of good jw's.
oh and DJ - yeah I am lucky - but if you had siblings you would realize that it like all else has its moments. I have mostly found that the people I consider "family" are all adopted friends. Perhaps you have some like that in your own life.
