  What is this latest letter from the GB about?

  we have been told this week that all in the elder and ms body will be read a letter from the gb about "make this the greatest month of activity ever"..... has anyone else had such a letter read out in their cong / servant body?.

  i presume it will be all about "recommending strongly/insisting" that all these men should pioneer for the month?.

  HA.....I laugh in their face a second time today. This will be the greatest JW waste of human time & resourses in their known history maybe. How could this August 2014 JW witnessing campaign be any greater than their belief that some of their "old light" conventions in the 1920's was fulfillment of the 7 trumpets of Revelation?

  I'm starting to get pretty fired up about this bat-shit crazy JW stuff. I'm sitting out front right now......why the hell can't some JW's come by today?

  Is this a new "This Generation" or not?

  first of all i want to express my sincere gratitude to atlantis and his good friends for making this 2014 book available.. ------------.

  as i see it, and i am absolutely open to contradiction, the wts appears to be giving another new meaning to this generation.

  this time the term means all of his anointed followers, including his immediate disciples.

  Jesus was referring to two groups of anointed Christians. The first group was on hand in 1914, and they readily discerned the sign of Christ’s presence in that year. Those who made up this group were not merely alive in 1914, but they were spirit-anointed as sons of God in or before that year.

  Absolutely amazing. No way in hell ANYBODY could remotely come up with this understanding by reading the Bible alone. At least the 1914 generation would not die off before the end came was sellable to people. (I'm guilty)

  Let me see if I got this right. The JW's under Charles Russell thought the 1914 end was first going to come in 1874, then when 1914 didn't come in 1914 it was changed to come in 1925. Jesus actually did come in 1914 but he was invisable. The "OT Prophets" forgot to come in 1925 even after Joseph Rutherford built them a manson in San Diego, CA. Then inspired by Freddie Franz 1975 was going to be the real end because this generation of Rutherford's millions who would never die was up, and it was the end of the 6,000 year creative day. Then there must have been an unaccounted time between Adam's creation and Eve's creation which would extend the end to come before the end of the 20th century. Now, 100 years after 1914 came, this modern-day band of morons Governing Body teaches an over-lapping generation that could extend the end to yet another 50 years while still believing that the end is coming any second now.

  I would love for a JW lurking right now and reading this forum to post and say this religion is utter bullshit and they are not wasting another day of their lives beliving these bat-shit crazy doctrines.

  Any examples of the JW's turning their backs on the elderly?

  the watchtower religion is a family destroying cult.

  i'm sure many of us know of people who gave their lives to the cult then have nothing and get nothing in the form of help from jw's.. i know a man who gave up a very good job with great benefits many years ago because the watchtower had a conflict with his noble occupation.

  of course the end was coming very soon so the man took a meager retirement and quit because of the watchtower.

  The JW's just do not see how cold hearted and unloving the Watchtower mindset is. Sure they believe in the resurrection and have their preaching work, but they have no true concept of love. They only love those putting on the outward appearance of meeting the Watchtower standards of field service, attending meetings, etc. They would be more Christian and get more done if they found some balance in helping their aged, sick or poor members in need, rather than be concerned with turning in a time slip at the end of the month to show how "holy & obiedient" they were. They should be able to count time helping their own rather than wasting time getting nothing done by bothering people who think the JW religion is bat-shit crazy.

  jws look down on others for saying, "bless you" if someone sneezes.

  it has something to do with the demons.

  another example is that it is considered satanic if a man took his hat off for a lady!

  Seems I missed this before. Very good write up. If a JW started talking about Jesus like the scriptures state the first century Christians did they would soon be up on apostacy charges. Funny thing is the JW's could actually view Jesus like the first century Christians did and still fit it into their non-Trinitarian theology. Of course the Watchtower refuses to do this. In JW worship Jesus has been demoted to 4th place. IMO here is the order of JW worship importance.
