I hope some active JW's visiting this site can look at this and see how dysfunctional the Watchtower religion really is. My god...having a beard is something normal. Only in the abnormal Jehovah Witness religion can having a beard cause a man to be ostracized and the subject of congregation gossip. Even the fact that Jesus had a beard does not even factor into the bat-shit crazy JW band on beards as being a sign of evil.

New Article on BEARDS and Attire of Jehovah's Witnesses

it is interesting that there is virtually no statement that says a witness cannot have a beard, yet universally they do not have beards.
i have scoured quotes from all the threads on jwn, all references to beard on the cd watchtower library, and copies of elders letters that i have.

Big difference in ex-cult members speculating on what the Watchtower cult will do next and what the leaders of the JW cult actually teach & do. The leaders of the Watchtower cult claim to be the only true religion on earth, God's channel of communication & God's Organization on earth. This dangerous cult destroys normal family relationships, encourages people (including children) to die refusing life-saving blood transfusions, discourages higher education, and encourages people to remain single & childless while they slave for the cult, among other bat-shit crazy things this religions believes and does. There are actually 8 deluded JW men in Brooklyn who believe that a Jehovah & Jesus has appointed them as a "Faithful & Discreet Slave" over all JW's, thus making them the most important men on the earth right now. These same deluded individuals have convinced the JW's to throw the founder C.T.Russell under the bus, and believe a ridiculous over-lapping generation doctrine in order to extent false prophecy expectations.

the name Jehovahs Witnesses
by Crazyguy inok so rutherford came up with the idea to change the name of the true religion of god to jehovah's witnesses based in isaiah 43. and of course ever since the rank and file witnesses have lovingly thought of themselves as gods chosen people.
well some one frogot to mention that in chapter 62 of isaiah gods says his true followers will be called by a new name.
yes newer then the old name almost 20 chapters ago.

i think the current leadership will make a transfer to a new start.

What is "theocratic warfare?" Is this official doctrine of JW's?
by Faithful Witness ini have never heard of "theocratic warfare," until i started reading blogs from, and interacting with ex-jw's online.
are there any articles that mention this practice?
i never once heard of it while we were studying.. now i'm wondering how many times it's been used on me.

"Theocratic warfare" is also used on newly interested ones to give evasive answers to any questions about wacky JW's beliefs until the hook of the "bait & switch" Watchtower religious scam is set. This "skill" is taught in the Theocratic Ministry School & Service Meetings.

Wonder if a name change is "new light" on the horizon? After all scoundrel Judge Rutherford gave them the name Jehovah's Witnesses in 1931. I could see this rapid fire "new light" Governing Body doing this to cut ties with Rutherford, and the negative connotation associated with the name Jehovah's Witnesses. After all, this is the same leaders who denied there was a "Faithful & Discreet Slave" class in that Australian court case.
